I got too much to talk about my dudes it's over for my brain SHANK that like button! / tyranitartube / therealttar Last music from Glitchxcity! • Pokémon X and Y- Anist...
MY DUDES i still haven't taken in that Kalos is literally what we're talking about now, this is insane... WHAT DO Y"ALL THINK, what's the story of Legends Z-A gonna be about?
Also, don't forget, this is the region where Magearna came from. We might be looking at cyborg Pokemon, which will probably be what we wanted the future Paradox Pokemon to actually look like.
Robots are cool but I really wanted to see some wacky speculative evolution for the future ‘Mons. Ones that adapted to conditions that we don’t know a thing about yet.
@@Bean_Pablobut it’s Z-A it may hint to him eventually but I think right now we can speculate everything. TTar makes fire vids but I think A B C is a stretch
I don't think it's set in the ancient past with AZ (even though he may be in it). A big part of the Renovation of Paris was the discovery of the Paris Catacombs and other forgotten historical sites. I think you uncover the remains of the ancient weapon and see the birth of whatever group will become Team Flare. Maybe the relic is left with proto-Team Flare for safekeeping at the end of this game, setting them up to turn evil 150 years later.
The history of Kalos is the history of AZ his actions, the weapon he made is the catalyst for so much. It created a twisted form of immortality, it saved Kalos, it ended a war, theirs a huge forgotten gravesite just outside of the town where the machine is buried where Pokémon lives were sacrificed for the weapon, it’s implied it made Deoxys, which would in turn endanger the planet as its meteor hurdled towards the planet, in real life Their was a war between the French and the Spanish which aren’t too far from each other so the crater in the middle of Paldea might also be AZ’s fault. He’s low key the most important human in Pokémons Lore and they barely did anything with him in the game that introduced him.
I'm not convinced the game is set in the past; it doesn't appear to be. It could be a future or current story and "Legends" is just the style of gameplay.
@@gamesingreen8449not to mention that even AZ's war was 3,000 years ago. That is long before Lumiose, or poke balls for that matter. There is no way we are getting a game about the ancient Kalos war.
I'm older than most of your viewers, about to be 37, but I do love all your theories with Pokemon. Almost 10 years ago, during a really dark time I was having, I found your title. A little, high pitched kid who LOVED pokemon. You reminded me of me. I'm actually glad they are going back to Kalos because it was the main reason I got back into Pokemon. Made me fall back in love with it. I'd love to see a Mega Aegislash or a Mega Talonflame.
I am about 10 years younger than you but XY holds the same special place in my heart, it was the first ever game i could buy with my own money, it got me back into liking pokemon and it was my confort for a long time, i am so hyped to finally see Kalos recieving some love
Legit 90% of this is something i could write or apply to myself, haha. 37, was obsessed with gen 1 and 2, but fell off after that. My ex got me a copy of Y, and during a dark time, found joy in shiny hunting. Came across a ttar randomizer and it was cool to see the next gen of kids enjoying what i use to love
@@MrMarco302and i am 10 years younger than you and for me kalos was the best Pokémon game ever. I can still remember when I got a 3ds and my first Pokémon game was Pokémon X. Ofc i later played the older games but for me xy is still the best and was the last very good game. Everything that came after xy was not good. I hope that legends za will be as good as xy or even better
Few things I think we hopefully will see expanded upon in this game, a list: -New Mega forms and Regional old forms of Pokémon both native and non native to Kalos -more info about Zygarde’s lore and power and connection to Xerneas and Yveltal -more info about AZ, his floette, and the ultimate weapon (why he nuked the damn region, etc) -More info about MEGAS and the power they hold (like why they PHYSICALLY HURT some Pokémon with the overwhelming power) -Last but not least, much like PLA, more INFO TO THE MYTHICALS OF KALOS, Give us side quests giving us more insight to Hoopa, Diancie (and how those carbinks morphed to create it) and Volcanion and have us catch them, much like PLA with Darkrai, Shaymin…etc
It would be great if we actually see Diance being "born" ingame Like maybe the previous queen died and then there's a quest to "train" a Carbink to get stronger in preparation for it's new role, and then you gow to some underground colony and it absorbs a bunch of life energy and mutates into Diance. During the process the Mega Stone is also created along side her.
The Z looks technological and the A looks natural. Black City and White Forest? Not literally those, but the dichotomy between the artificial and natural.
@@eeveeofalltrades4780 this is really interesting. Something like in this era they destroy the original one and have to invent a new one which is why Zygarde is so tech-y. I don’t think it’s that, but it would be cool if it were!
Imagine if the “Z-A” was Z (the end) and A (the start) and we somehow go backwards in time from the future to the past in stages. Like you start 260 years in the future from where you end and every so often in the story you get sent back another 10 years until you make it to the beginning where you have to stop events from happening
Mini theory; What if AZ was like Inggo in Legends Arceus, and he was sent back in the past with knowledge of this more futuristic tech. Maybe that’s how he made the weapon!
PLA had Pokemon in Blue (open skies,) Legends in Green (open plains), and Arceus in brush strokes (setting the time period). PLZA has Pokemon in a pale Pink like Diancie, Z has Zygarde's aesthetic and A is reminiscent of the Ultimate Weapon. Diancie as a diamond could be beauty, Zygarde as multiple pieces is then bonds, which leaves "A" to represent evolution, going back to the ultimate weapon being the origin of mega stones. Epiphany! The Chaos Pokemon intervening at times could be why Iron Valiant and Roaring Moon are reminiscent of mega-evolved Gardevoir+Gallade and Salamence.
I thinks its more likely two duos. The duo of life and death, and the duo of order and chaos. Order tries to keep the balance and chaos tries to ruin it by messing with life and death
And like when order is winning then life and death can’t interfere with one another and there is balance, but when chaos is winning then life and death become unsettled and fight one another for control and it either leads to mass death or overpopulation.
4:40 I am still on the idea that we gonna get Yggdrasil Tree in the game either an actual tree or a Grass Type Pokemon. A Legendary Pokemon counterpart to Zygarde that got cut down to create ultimate weapon and which roots are located under the Lumiose. With AZ's Floette holding the last flower of the Yggdrasil tree - with our ultimate goal being a baby tree/reviving it, to clear at least that sin made by AZ. 7:20 Zygarde is based on the dragon that seeps on the tree roots. It is a defender of thr environment. But it probably would be said to be the cause of the forest dying, because it needed power to eliminate a catastrophe.
With Norse Mythology and the Story of the World Tree being so heavily Tied to the Legendary Pokémon of XY, I found it Strange that of it all, the Lord of the Underworld where the Tree Stands, and Tender of the Tree, Hel, has No Pokémon Equivalent - as the Norse God/Goddess of Death, you'd think they'd have had more Reason to be in XY, Right? Yet we had Yveltal, found at the Top of the Tree, where the Rest live at the Base of the Tree or Below - like Something happened to a Previous Death Pokémon and Yveltal had to Fill In for it... maybe that Pokémon Attempted to Destroy the Natural Order and was Defeated by Zygarde, but as Death is Part of the Balance, another Pokémon had to be Chosen to Inherit their Power, with Yveltal being Selected... A Working Name I came up with for the Pokémon is 'Bhelzharok': as the Word 'Hel' isn't going to Appeal to Censorship Judges, I thought to Obscure it inside another Norse-Sounding Name for Entymology; the Other Words being Blended In being Ragnarok, the Iconic Event in Norse Mythology and Beelzebub, a Devil Character from another Religion that could also Signify the Corruption that lead to Bhelzharok attacking the Ecosystem to Begin With - Humanity's Despoiling of Nature with their Wars and Pollution. This then Links things Back to the Theme of Beauty that the XY Games had...
@@callmesilver2683 Complete Form Zygarde is based on the Frost Giants Loki was Biologically Related to, from what I Recall - the Height Stat of that Form in Pokédex Listings is Evidence of that, but I Understand why you Thought what you did. If I recall correctly, Xerneas is Closer to being based on Hel than any of Zygarde's Forms, though I had the Impression it had a Different Norse Representation...
the point about manmade vs nature really got me thinking, nature rarely has straight lines and focuses more on circular shapes and wavy lines, the logo's A has circular patterns towards the bottom whereas zygarde has always been liked to hexagons, i don't know what that could mean but it just got me thinking
Remember like eons ago when we talked about AZ’s floette being a paradox form? Maybe there’s something about this… Maybe a connection between the paradox pokemon, like az’s w3apon created the paradox? Connecting with the neighbor region of paldea
Knowing the game supposedly takes place entirely in lumiose city does give me pause because i really want to explore the interesting areas of kalos in a new way like in PLA. This could just mean that lumiose city is our new Jubilife village acting as our home base. Lumiose city is lore wise supposed to be pretty big and in the game we could be slowly expanding the city limits as we modernize the old lumiose into its modern form. I hope the director who directed Legends Arcues is also directing this game because he did a lot of great things imo. I loved legends. The shiny sound, Strong/Agile Style, tough battles were being overleveled doesn't let you sweep through everything, fun side quests fill with lore and world building stories. He also gave us the ability to change our moves super easily without a 3rd party. I'd trust him to cook this one 🎉 Im excited they seem to be reigniting their passion and creativity again. They're throwing curve balls and trying to do new things instead of whats expected in a schedule. Speaking of schedules looks like the higher ups may have gotten the hint and are giving the dev team a healthier development time line. Its a good thing for them and us. 🎉
Another thing to not forget about kalos is the giant sundial like device. I always thought when i saw it that it looked similar to the ultimate weapon with that crystal like texturing. Also the A has a plant like texture at the bottom. But i cant think of any special points in parisian history that was about plants, nor anything special about plants outside of that gym.
also with the sundial an npc says that no modern day tech can even scratch it, same thing was said about some of the mysterious metal plates down in area zero. that cant be a coincidence because both instances have identical wording
lmao so Khu has A LOT of explaining to do with his riddles bc nothing he was tweeting about hinted towards Kalos 😂😭 This mans did NOT know what tf was going on this year
He said that the stupid "8" riddle was an overlapped Z and A lol, he's really stretching, and then when he can't think of anything he just claims troll.
I think gamefreak was pulling a marvel. Giving people fake info to stop leaks from happening and to track down which ones have leaked it. Like when you’re given a test and there’s 3 versions and you can tell who cheated on the papers when the answers are wrong.
An important note is that a big theme of the game will be to turn Lumiose into a city where both Humans and Pokémon can thrive together, which isn't the case in XY since there it's just for humans that have Pokémon, but no wild Pokémon thriving.
I got suspicious when the mega Jynx codes leaked. But I thought it would be a third DLC adding South Kalos to that empty part of Paldea's map... with a couple of mega pokemon.
bro this is the best time for a pokemon fan. All the theories and teaser analysis about what's in the next game is so fun. It's crazy that I've watched ttar theorycraft about new pokemon games ever since ORAS/XY
The teaser shows that they're planning a "city of lights" just like the real region it's based off of. A legends game works for Kalos as well, because there is a theme of beauty and sharing this world we have together. If it's like Hisui, the people will learn to share and create a beautiful world with Pokémon.
I 100% agree. However, I think we see the end of the war. We go through the game with running into AZ probably 20 times and we find out more from how the weapon came about
5:30 Ikkaku is the codename for Legends ZA. Ikkaku means narwhal. New A shaped narwhal legendary pokemon that rivals Zygarde? It's horn could be shaped like the A
My theory is that gen 9 will be the last generation with a gimmick. I personally believe that the title "Z - A" hints about going from the end to where it all begun. From the end of the gimmicks to their introduction.
There's some really crazy tech in modern day Paldea, the neighboring region of Kalos... Just saying... Not like there was an ancient war or a giant ultimate weapon launching something down ending the war making a crater or anything... A rea Z ero goin crazy rn. This shit a paradox fr
I think the game will be set Post-War, seeing as the planning documents say RE-DEVELOPMENT for Lumiose City, suggesting improving technology proved by the weapon and also that the city might have taken damage during the war.
my first thought when I saw the logo was that the A is also a delta symbol. When we got X & Y and ORAS we were expecting pokemon Z and pokemon Delta, so I feel like maybe Rayquaza could have a part in the story of the game.
fair enough, but im kinda tired of seeing rayquaza everywhere, he's slowly reaching charizard levels of over saturation. a new WMD pokemon would be way funnier
Except without the Tail of the Z helping to form an A, this is the Greek Character for Lambda, not Delta - Delta is a Full Triangle, while Lambda is Open at the Bottom. Rayquaza likely Won't have any Part in this, despite being the First Pokémon to Mega Evolve...
Z - A or Z to A is a reverse of from A to Z. What if they're redeveloping Lumiose like modernize it but bring parts of it back to its past where pokemon still live or inhabit the area like putting the terarium concept of blueberry academy in city..
It would be pretty cool if we get new mega evolutions but for Kalosian (?) forms. Like, imagine Meganium; the normal one can’t mega evolve, but Kalosian Meganium can due to adapt to the new environment. Two concepts working together!
The "redevelopment" plans make me think of the Haussmanian renovations of Paris during the 19th century, adding the big boulevards; iconic looking buildings ; cleaning the city ; adding a sewer system and growing the city in size. Before that, it was smaller and looked much more medieval. So what I would expect is that : A smaller medieval and labyrinthian looking city center and some wild outskirts of what would be the outer districts in current-day Lumiose. I'd expect a mechanic to send the player into the "future", or rather during the events of X and Y to finish telling the story.
In the same vein, Az builds the weapon in protest of the natural process of death. The lore in Pokémon is so good. We’re finally starting to see how the lore of each region and generation are all connected. There’s a huge narrative going on in the background
I really like the fact that pokemon z, a game which was scrapped because of deadlines in the pokemon company now is made as a game in a new fan favourite spinoff series and skips a year so is propably made with enough care to be a solid game and the best quality pokemon game untill now
Zygarde: the pokemon of order, Yveltal: the pokemon of death and Xerneas: the pokemon of life. Team Nature. A: the pokemon of chaos, B: the pokemon of demolition, C: the pokemon of construction. Team synthetic.
I think the redevelopment plan is to rebuild Lumios city after it got destroyed from the blast of the ancient weapon (if it does get destoryed) Also the Z-A might literally just be Zygarde (Z) vs AZ (A)(who we might also learn the actual name of). AZ was the one who created the ancient weapon so the plot might be that Zygarde is doing everything in its power to stop the weapon going off and killing so many pokemon while AZ is doing everything in his power to stop the war even if it means kill as many pokemon as he needs to, basically a needs of the many vs the needs of the few fight. Zygarde is fighting to keep as many pokemon and people alive even if it means keep the war going, in order to maintain a sense of order, and AZ might just be (well he does) going full scorched earth - kill everything so that peace can return. Then its more of a moral quandary of was Zygarde or AZ in the right? Would more lives have been saved if the war continued? Instead of "here is a clear villain who is being a villain for the sake of the fact they are evil"
Only issue with this is timeline since the Weapon went of 3000 years prior to XY and I highly doubt we get a electricity powered Lumious right after that lol
@@funkycrawler619they could just be rebuilding the city like an 1800s esque lumios, it doesn't have to be electricity powered... also there are electric types who could power things if they really wanted to
The Eiffel Tower was made in 1887. Since this game is building the "Eiffel Tower" of Kalos I would believe this would be around there timewise in the Pokemon world (atleast I would think, but this is Gamefreak they could do whatever).
you mentioned 'artifical' and i thought of Magearna, its labeled as a artificial pokemon. also I saw someone mention the word ;pokemon' is pink, due to the coloration of Magearna being a fairy type. another thing I saw someone point out with the hyphane has a small outline of blue and red which resembles the z nodes that have those colors on them.
imagine terapagos made the abc mons as paradox mons or this might have to do with Arceus, like them going to war and Zygarde and Arcues's energy started the mega evo phenomena
Imagine if this version of Legends happens 100 years in the future from the original xy happened but we get more flash back moments of az and having to find his floette a new home and in the search you find a cave which has 3 “statues” but because of the power in floette it activates and they try to start the war again and this versions of quelling them is literally trying to find ways to steal that power away to shut them down and catch them
Something that I haven’t seen anyone mention is the connection between game gimmicks and crystals (and a coresponding legendary). Z-Crystals are obvious enough, with their connection to Necrozma and its crystalline form. The dynamax energy from Eternatus and the wishing star, both of which have crystalline forms. And obviously Terastalization, which originates from Terapagos (who forms from a crystal.) Mega Evolution stones take the form of jewels (even being worn like them), like precious crystals such as Diamonds. What I find specifically interesting is that Diancie was the only Kalos pokemon to recieve a Mega Evolution, and happens to also be a crystalline mythical (sub catergory of legendary) pokemon. To add onto this, Diancie in the movie created a key stone for itself. If there is a synthetic trio, based on A, B, and C, then perhaps their Synthetic nature is not greater than Nature (like the paradox mons seemed to be, purposful or not), and maybe they need an extra member, a D, to be equals. Perhaps Diancie, as a crystalline legendary with exclusive access to a gimmick that was in its region, was a member of this enemy synthetic group, and WAS part of the Ultimate weapon that AZ used. Diancie is also AFTER Zygarde in the pokedex, so maybe that's why its Legends Z-A instead of A-Z. I know i was kinda all over the place, but i hope my point gets across well enough.
Saying that about 800 years ago made me do some research. 800 years ago, Paris was under a lot of construction. That's when Notre Dame was built, as well as a lot of walls for the city. With the trailer mentioning renovating Lumiose, I feel like these might be connected and we might get to go back in time and see some of this stuff from 800 years ago.
To me the 3d tron like part could just be how the designer of the city imagines how it will look like and its all glowy for our enjoyment and to catch attention.
But the Pokémon Website says that the entirety of the game takes place WITHIN Lumiose City and the Ultimate Weapon is located outside of it in Geosenge Town (on the east coast of Kalos) so I doubt it can be the Ultimate Weapon. It’s not like the there is a giant hole in Lumiose as there was in Geosenge Town after the use of the weapon. I think the A is just representative of the Lumiose Tower and perhaps the game expands on the underground tunnels and vents we hear from the NPCs in the XY original games. This would be so cool considering the real life underground tunnels or catacombs in Paris. They could tie Zygarde into all of this, maybe he created these tunnels.
Also notable to point out, Team Flare’s headquarters was also located underground in Lumiose City and an elevator key was needed to access it so it could be plausible that this underground theme will be addressed. We even hear from locals that there are rumors of a lava dome pokemon (Heatran) in Lumiose City. I’m so excited to see where the game heads
@@G-B-F123The Heatran thing is a mistranslation, as far as I know. The original Japanese dialogue has one of the people mimicking Pokémon cries, and the other one says they're so convincing that it sounds like there's a real Heatran in Jaune Plaza.
I was thinking that maybe ABC could be an artificial counterpart to XYZ, just like how Pokemon have opposite types. Additionally, I feel that if they were mechanical, they would have a steampunk aesthetic, similar to Magearna since it was created 500 years ago. Alternatively, they could be from the City of Cogs and Gears, which was featured in the Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel movie. Also didnt the xyz anime talk about kalos past i think it was the very last episode.
The logo on the right is 100% a callback to X and Y's logo designs. X and Y had their title letters on the right and modeled Xerneas and Yveltal, so I think it's doing the same as a reference
Im so glad they are doin this. Now maybe we get to know about the moon dial thing thats was mentioned bcs we know of the sun dial an the other mysteries with the war and that weapon
You should talk about what the starters, like in one of The Hidden Treasure of Area zero part 2 trailers, you can see some starters side by side with PLA starters, like you have Cyndaquill and Torchic, Rowlet and Snivy, and Oshawott and Piplup those might be the starters
While listening to you i kinda thought about Cell from Dragon Ball Z. He had to absorb android 17 and 18 to achieve his ultimate form right? Imagine an artificial legendary that will absorb our yveltal, xerneas and zygarde during the final battle. That would be crazy. And after we caught it, it can only absorb one of them to get a new form and stuff.
The point about the logo indicating a futuristic modern vibes tracks with legends arceus if you remember when revealing the logo the word “Arceus” was animated to be drawn in a calligraphic style really selling the fact that the game is in the past so they definitely keep the game in mind when introducing the logo
Great video man as usual, I'm so hype for this game its unreal, I kind of predicted a kalos remake a day before the presents, just knew that gamefreak was hiding something in plain sight.
3:25 I think the white wireframe on dark blue background is supposed to evoke the look of blueprints - a "redevelopment plan" is not just architectural sketches but engineering proposals, too. But also practically, notice: they're showing us the game world, but release is still at least a year away. The 3DS games' Lumiose City aren't at this scale, so it's not like they just had this sitting around. I think they're showing us a WIP or early model of Lumiose City, at least something they're using internally for planning the game world, like to lay out the city and assign who works on what. But at this point it's probably all *very* incomplete - missing textures, no shaders or engine "lookdev" work, or details and doodads, etc. So sketchy wireframe of the city is what they show us. I wouldn't be surprised if Game Freak really literally did give us a peek into their Lumiose City building plans.
The Lumiose Redevelopment plans and drawings could be a reference to the actual Paris Urban Redev plan in the 1850s. The area’s medieval roadworks and architecture were completely demolished to make way for new developments like new buildings, sewage, and wider road (basically the modern day Paris).
hey ttar, love the vids my guy. obv i know this isn’t how it’s gonna go, just a fun idea. i really think a background story to how zygarde came to be the neutralizer, or how he’s supposed to stop every threat would be cool since we don’t know much about zygarde. in short, how he became “plan Z” because he is a wimp in his first stage to(-) “plan A” and stopped the threat of the war
I think that Az somehow learned how to time travel and went to the future, came back with the ultimate weapon and won the war I think in the new game we might be able to jump to the future like Az did
the meteor sound was so spooky lol. im thinking abc has to do with unown cuz they are mysterious to this day, and they have always resembled letters and they were featured in the trailer
Why isn’t anyone talking about the release? The release says specifically releasing simultaneously in 2025 to say simultaneously with suggest that it is releasing with something else is that switch to or are there two games here Pokémon legends Z and Pokémon legends, a where one is in the past and one is in the future
