I had a TPA screen done and that was + But the RPR was negative so they did the TPPA and that came back negative. They told me it was a false positive. why does this happen? What else can it be?

I hope you can help me, I am pregnant and my test have been as follows see it: 3 months pregnant vdrl negative 6 months pregnant vdrl negative 7 months pregnant CIA reactive, RPR non-reactive and TP PA non-reactive. 8 months pregnant same results than 7 months. I don't know what happened 😕 How can I interpret it???

What about “minimal reactive” result for FTA?

What if the result of tpha is positive up to 1:5120?

What is serofast? Can someone with that still transmit syphilis?
