Will the new app update design work with an existing 3-axis (1xGenie + 2xGenie Mini) setup as well? The UI appears to much easier to setup shots than the existing one.

It won't be ready on release, but you will be to use it with your 3-axis kit very soon. We already started to merge and integrate everything into one single App, meaning that all future updates on both the Genie Mini and Genie II will happen within that one App.

Hi, sorry I just re read this properly. It will definitely work with genie mini and genie 2 but we are currently not 100% sure if the new app will work with the original genie. Due to hardware constraints of the older genie we need to do some further digging to see if that’s possible. We plan to lol into that after we release support for genie mini. Sorry for the confusion

Gotchya. While keyframing support would be huge for the original Genie, I honestly think just the UI changes shown are a bigger deal. Trying to do the same thing on the existing app is just so much more challenging due to the tricky nature of getting the exact rotation points for video.

how many seconds between each photo i can set maximum? can i make a 2 weeks timelapse making every 15 minutes a photo? thanks a lot

Hi. I would like to know where is the best site to get updates, information, users manuals and on-the-road plans for syrp products and app. Since Manfrotto owns syrp, it's so complicated to get information about syrp. I appreciate your suggestions about this. Thanks

Hope I can get some help here, this is the only place I have found (nothing in the manual, no FAQ, no forums...) : once I have set my key frames, and I end up in the detailed window, the app keeps resetting the frames after I tap on "time lapse"!! It's driving me insane, I can't figure out why, and the app doesn't behave like on the video! If someone has a quick tip I could use, I would be very thankful, I am using rented equipment which I have to send back in 2 days!

I got an original 1st Gen still in the box, would I be able to conect it to the app and program to do endless sliding on my slider? thanks

Hi. I've just received my new Genie II Pan Tilt and linear kit. It requires an update to both, I've gone through the process more than 10x now and every time I get a failed message saying, failed at module 8, tap to try updating again. Any ideas?

Is it possible give more than two waypoints? But more important question: can I use the pan and tilt module vertically (on a 90 degrees angle slider)? If yes, how strong is the motor? Does the job up to 2-2,5kg camera setup? Thanks

Hi yes, it's possible, suggest to use our Tilt platform in order to create a level platform for the Pan Tilt to attach. You will need a light(ish) camera lens combo to make it work or if you counter weigh the carriage using our counterbalance system built into our sliders. Then you can lift as much weight as you like. Without the vertical payload is 2.5kg for Genie II.

I set up a simple 2 axis video using a Genie One and a Mini II. The preview 'button' runs through from start to end just like I'm intending - but when I use the record button the linear motion stops 2/3 of the way down the track. Why's it doing this? And how do I adjust it to go full speed end-to-end without regard to recording time?

With the Genie II, it appears only 1 cable is required to connect both devices because of Bluetooth. If I am looking to connect my Timelapse+ VIEW to this setup, where would I connect it?

amacmedia while it won’t be ready on release there will be no need for timelapse + view with genie 2 as we can control exposure straight from the device

Max speed of the Genie II Linear is 160mm per Sec

I have the genie mini, can i use it with the genie II to get slider and pan with synchronised movement? i mean to get the subjet on frame while bouncing from point A to Point B with same ease in ease out movements? Sorry for my english. thanks for your support

MAURICIO for sure you can sync everything from the new app including genie mini and genie 2 linear

Does it work w Nikon D850? I connected the camera to the Genie w a 10 pin, but not sure what else I need to do.

Hey Alejandro, you can use the Syrp link cable 1N (this is a 10 PIN cable also but it does need to be the Syrp brand since it has the appropriate signals running though to your Genie). @@SyrpLab Thanks. is that the cable that will allow me to use the panorama and timelapse features of the app? Right now I am connecting my D850 Nikon with regular cable and I cant access those options.
