@dorianmode69 dude nothing against Daron he's great and all but serj is one of the most talented rock singers all time. Daron does one thing really well with his voice while serj has a much more dynamic and instantly recognizable voice not only than Daron but most any of his contemporaries.
This feels like I'm 93, looking back on my life, remembering the good days of my early 20s and how I used to drive around town blasting SOAD in the car.

As a lifelong Soad fan and hugely passionate piano player who has been trying to learn how to play metal for too long, this has been extremely nice to see
Metal, in general, is actually very calming and relaxing to me. I think it has something to do with how it all just makes sense. It's like a chaotic complex puzzle, all magically falling perfectly into place.
even the dirtiest thrash will get me amped up, but after a few songs I get super chill, throw on some Lorena MkKennitt or power metal and lay in a hammock for a couple hours.
I used to play SOAD to go to bed in high school. The harmonies were so relaxing even in the original form. This is next level lullaby. My cats are loving it too

SOAD was my favorite song as an angsty teenager, and I still love them in my 30s. I play the more kid-friendly songs for my daughter and she loves them (Chop Suey is her favorite so far). I'm only on Lonely Day so far and I am already so excited to listen to the entire thing. Thank you so much for making this, it made my day.
This is utterly beautiful. Is anyone else getting a slightly fuzzy tone instead of crystal clear? Is it my headphones maybe? I wish I had been in the room lying on the floor with my eyes closed to hear it in its glory- I'm a guitar player of 30 years but I still think piano is the most emotionally expressive instrument I've ever heard
Sometimes the gain on the piano can lead to a buzzing sound. Especially if it’s turned up too loud. It’s just something that happens with a piano 🤷🏻♂️

These are really interesting renditions, and they're beautiful when they get going, but in my opinion, they're just a bit too stretched out, to the point where I find myself skipping through them. I'd love to hear some more concise versions of these songs!

This is very beautiful. I remember listening to Soldier Side after recently getting back from Iraq. I was driving on the highway at night with my wife. She’s not really into that kind of music and probably would’ve preferred to shut it off. I knew she was listening to the words when I looked over and saw her crying. It was a strange feeling because in that moment I felt like she understood how I felt.
I laughed when this popped up on my feed, because how can SOAD be "relaxing" regardless of what instrument is playing it... but this is beautiful. I never would've expected these songs could be this lovely. Amazing work.
Amazing work. Some of these songs i never thought could be made 'soft' in this way, like BYOB, yet you've made them sound like they always were. Hauntingly beautiful.

@@otaiza_jl Yeh actually. SOAD was my favourite grown up. As a mama to 3 young kids and 1 on the way I listen to more sleep music. This is the best of both worlds.
I would click in a SOAD live song but then suddenly the videos refreshed as I had already clicked and went to this one hahahaha I couldn't think something that could cause annoyance to me if it was any other video now caused me happiness that it was a so unique way of playing SOAD.
