It takes a tremendous amount of time and effort to effectively teach complex subjects like DAW music production and it's understood that teachers need a living (hopefully thriving) income to continue their work, even though the same people love their subject so much that they'd probably do it for free if they could. Don't feel bad about trying to work the system to thrive at what you love.
A true privilege to hear such an in depth interview with probably my fave techno DJ and producer ever (and one of the most underrated). So many great stories and insights here. Big up Claude (and Tâches)... Hope I'm in that random bar when you step up on the decks! ❤
So nice interview! I'm very happy that there is another talk, showing people from our nice community. Thank you both so much making this happening. Looking forward for more 🌻
I used to listen to Fuse on Classic 21 in Belgium every Saturday and the few times Claude Young aired I was basically glued to the radio and I was in my mid-teens.. So inspirational. Him, Jeff Mills and Dave Clarke really made the bridge between the Turntablism and the classic House/Disco mixing style.. His couple if releases on Elypsia.. Oh my... Respect.
