I am always amazed by how much Faroese I can understand as a Norwegian speaker. I would have literally no problems communicating if I went there, be it simple communication. I noticed that my Norwegian dialect probably influenced Faroese. Can’t say the same about Icelandic sadly
Same here but in this case i am a spanish speaking person but i would have no problem communicating with italians. The world is a curious place to live
the angelic chorus sings of the beauty of the faroe islands, singing of its history, and its mountains. this sure creates a very nice video, and do not forget of the nice pictures accommodating the song. which add a nice addition to the song in harmony to create such a beautiful vid. Keep up the great work Ingen.
Could you make a video on the song “öxar við ána”. It’s a song about Icelandic independence and I really think It would fit your channel Edit: I don’t know if he did it because of me but I’m happy either way
So a friend of mine‘s grandfather, (I live in Denmark by the way) or great grandfather wrote the melody of this song (Or so he says) My friends name is Sigvard. I can’t remember what his great grandfather’s Name was though.
Hello Ingen. Well I wanted to ask you if you could upload an Argentine militar patriotic song "El Uno Grande". since very soon it is the birthday of a friend who really likes songs like the ones you upload, just like your channel. xd
They’re considered a “constituent country” within the Danish Kingdom. The Faroe Islands even have their own Prime Minister and a Minister of Foreign Affairs and Culture.
@@adamy.soliman7326 I'm in Denmark right now and I just realized that they have the flag of the Faroes at the station here in Aalborg and on the city busses.
