this was my first major premium i bought and it is still first on my play list in terms of kill death ratio. the insane ricochets you get and down tiers makes this thing really good

I have had the T-55AM-1 for like 3-4 years now and its a great tank and 8.7 is such a good BR for the soviets.

I love the Swedish T-55, it's one of my all-time favorite vehicles and the Swedish 8.7 lineup already has *lots* of great vehicles. Since you recommend this one so much, and I will eventually need to grind Russia, I'll take it, and now I have your decal too ;)

Loving the daily videos Jon! I got myself the Panzerbataillon 123 this sale but Im definitely gonna get me the T-55 next. Around 8.0-8.7 is just the most chill and fun BR in my opinion.

Do you have some specific sound settings? Your sounds are very clear but ingame I don't get the same.

T55AM1 is a better pick than the T72AV Turms as it is way more survivable with 4 crewmembers and the ammo being stored on the one side if only carrying 18 shells. My biggest gripe is the optics as they are quite bad especially since this was a late 1970s early 1980s refit. I wish the T62M1 was the premium instead though as its turret armour is uniformly 200mm behind the Add-on armour...T55s armour is only 200mm at the very front of the teardrop. 3BM28 is a substantial improvement over 3BM25. Both vehicles Hull armour are M735 Proof at best...in a down tier you can drive backwards and use the engine as armour 😂 shockingly effective. Fun fact- the tracks are actually T72 tracks

Is the t55amd-1 the same tank? I was considering buying the premium but I am close to the amd so I am wondering what the difference is.

Guys, i bought T-55AM-1 instead of T-72AV, it's way better, i grinded 80% of the tech using it. Also, Russia 8.7 is the best in the game.

My beloved tank but free version T55 AMD

I do not own this vehicle but have spaded the AMD-1, the tech tree equivalent. What I could not work out is the different bewteen the that one and this one. Aside from the added RP and SL gains from it being premium. Same BR. Same gear. Same weapon system. Both get APS. Whats the difference between the two??

I have had t55am1 for roughly 3 months and easily grinding all of rank 6 and helped my with some of the rank 7 grind. (2 nukes btw lmao) Edit: I would say in the entire russia tree, 10.3, 8.7 and 4.7 are the best lineup, even without the t55am1, t55amd and t62, the shturm-s and it 1 with object 435 all combine with a perfectly fitting lineup that is playable on almost every map at the br range. Almost all of my games in 8.7 are so great with t55am1, I love it with good mobilty and great vs 7.7. Also a question is what do you record with? just asking (sorry for a lot of words xd)

This tank has grinded me the entirety of the Russian tech tree. In 6 months 12 million sl and 1,000,000 Rp. Since it sits at 8.7 it gets downtiered heavily to 8.0 8.3 and even 7.7 sometimes, Buy it now or you stupid.

i dont know why, but i do not like this tank at all, i get piss poor damage with it with pretty good aim. just the stress of not doing enough damage is pretty nerve racking
