The Terminator T-800
_____________________
The Terminator, also known as a Cyberdyne Systems Model 101 or the T-800, is the name of several film characters from the Terminator franchise portrayed by Arnold Schwarzenegger and numerous actor stand-ins digitally overlaid with Schwarzenegger's likeness. The Terminator itself is part of a series of machines created by Skynet for infiltration-based assassination missions, and while an android for its appearance resembling a human, it usually describes itself as a cybernetic organism consisting of living tissue over a robotic endoskeleton.
The first appearance of the T-800 was as the antagonist in The Terminator, a 1984 film directed and co-written by James Cameron. While the original Terminator was destroyed, other machines with the same appearance are featured in the sequels: In Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Terminator Salvation, Terminator Genisys, and Terminator: Dark Fate.
The Terminator CPU is an artificial neural network with the ability to learn and adapt. It was also briefly referred to as a room-temperature superconductor. In Terminator 2, The Terminator states that "the more contact [it] has with humans, the more [it] learns." In the second movie's Special Edition, it says that Skynet "presets the switch to 'read-only' when Terminators are sent out alone", to prevent them from "thinking too much". Sarah and John activate the T-800's learning ability, after which he becomes more curious and begins trying to understand and imitate human behavior. This leads to his use of the catchphrase "hasta la vista, baby". He ultimately "learns the value of human life" as mused by Sarah in the closing narration. The Terminator apologized - something it had never done previously - when John was frantically trying to convince it not to be sacrificed. Its last words to John were "I know now why you cry, but it is something I can never do."
Terminator Arm seen in T2, 1991
________________________________
The Connors and the T-800 discover that the endo-arm and chipped CPU of the previous T-800 survived the hydraulic press Sarah had used to destroy it, and were secretly recovered by Cyberdyne. They are the source of Dyson's Skynet microprocessor research; just as Kyle Reese's presence in the past brought about John Connor's existence, the original T-800's has brought about Skynet's. When Dyson says he'll discontinue his research and quit Cyberdyne the next day, Sarah and the Terminator convince him that they must destroy everything related to his chip design, including the T-800 pieces immediately, so that no-one can follow his work and take his place as Skynet's creator.
Sarah, John, the Terminator, and Dyson break into the Cyberdyne Systems building and retrieve the parts from the first Terminator. While preparing explosives to destroy all of Dyson's research, security alerts the police who show up in force, including the T-1000, still disguised as a cop. When the SWAT team enters the building, they mortally shoot Dyson, who stays behind to trigger the detonator.

Does all your wires fit into the holes in the base of the arm? Only one of mine do and the other wires are short, with two empty holes in the arm base.

The one you were referring to that’s $1500 is by Blitzway , and the price is outrageous. Also I would be too concerned with how long the articulated arm would work until it ceased all motor functions.

I bought the new blitzway version, but after it broke I sent it back for a full refund. Honestly, it's a nice idea but it's gimmicky and I wouldn't trust it's longevity. I honestly prefer the static HCG or sideshow version.

I had the HCG EndoArm myself, but recently sold it for $700. Why? Half downpayment for the Sideshow/Blitzway animatronics one, that’s why. Don’t get me wrong, the HCG is nice and all, but it ain’t Blitzway animatronics nice.

Never bothered me, but I get that. There are some good alternatives out there that are articulated.
