No offense bro, but we are OVER accountable for our actions and others actions. If the injustice system is not feeding on us, racists are feeding on us, and some blacks are turning the finger on all of us. It has to stop. The murderers need to be found and get justice.
@@maggmaxxx if yall were over accountable then this type of stuff wouldn't be happening in every city across America every day. Y'all would speak up when stuff like this happen and not call people simps and shame them for doing the right thing. And it's mainly the men out here murking people....yall aren't held accountable enough. Stop deflecting and making excuses. Injustices exist but most of yall aren't even at a level where yall even experience that.
Self respect to me is the most important thing. If I respect myself then why should I care if you respect me?? You can’t force people to respect you. Expecting people to respect you automatically means you’re being disrespectful to yourself.
He also has a wife who is left to raise those children alone. Everybody is skipping that part. R.I.P Dolph. And may his “wife” find strength to carry on.
That is the truth Big Brother most men don't give women enough credit trust me that woman is going through a lot right now and every day she has to explain to not only her daughter but to her son what happened to their father their provider and why life is changed for them so dramatically my prayers goes out to the family but most importantly I ask God to wrap his hands around those children especially their little boy ..Because he's going to need some guidance. His father never wanted him to have to endure a moment of the influence of this culture.... trust me I'm a God-fearing man mo3 God bless his soul Tupac God bless his soul Nipsey God bless his soul Dolph God bless your soul all these men have something in common they were brought up in the church they grew up listening to the word of God so they were set apart meaning very different hit the earthquake that happened in Memphis God Is Watching he will return soon attention grab your children and educate them
@@denicawilliams4565 still...they have 2 kid's and they were in love...he never left her before his pasting...plus he's a private person...they probably didn't want people all up in they business they probably is married
Never believe that the other person is done beefing with you just because y'all have supposedly squashed it. Don't get comfortable and let your guard down so you can be caught slipping. Once there is beef, there is always beef.
We really never openly talk about the dark energy that’s coming through hip hop. The riches have blindly let people justify the destruction of morals. From dead brothers being disrespected, women calling themselves thots and sluts, open devil imagery for fame, attention and money. It’s a lot of pride, hate, greed and lust in the air. Y’all stay on your p’s and q’s.
That energy ain't coming from hip hop directly. The fact is, a whole lot of rappers are from the streets and gangs. So they take that street mentality to the studio, and wherever they go. The only other genre of music that gets you killed is those Tejano singers. Music should not be a vehicle for death. The artists should leave the street stuff behind.
@Perry it is on your parents. Raise up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it. If humans didn't need parents we would be born not requiring their protection and training.
N*gga started a beef with yo Gotti for no reason then made a WHOLE album taunting the n*ggas who shot his truck up...then got shot in Hollywood. And you say that aint energy?
I said it after Nipsey Hustle died: you CAN'T stay in the 'hood after you become successful. Even if you don't think you're better than everyone else, people will assume that just because you're still hanging around. They'll think you're trying to stunt on 'em. Move, man. You ain't gotta keep it THAT real.
@@williamanderson7093 not at all. Nobody deserves that. I'm just saying that you gotta move different once you make it and become famous. Everybody's not happy for you. Like Boosie said, some people are "hypnotized with hatred."
True.....maybe people need to start boycotting rap music....time for people to be real men and grow up...black people always beefing with each other and we are the only race that do that...these rappers trying to be hard and guns is the coward way out...ok you beefing with someone, how about use those hands....this sh*t is SAD!!!
The hood is full of jealous, envious, blood thirsty and trigger happy vampires, as a black man get your paper and leave the hood once you make it big, keep your guard up and help from a distance, never get too comfortable chilling with your old friends in the hood.
Young Dolph had too many attempts on his life too be casually walking in a cookie shop without the proper security....sending someone too the store would of been a smarter move ....or in a car that's lowkey....thinking your bulletproof and actually being is 2 different things....RIP to Dolph Nip and everyone who lost there life too the senselessness
Ego. That’s what I been saying “I’m a gangster I can go anywhere in my city, I’m well respected in my city. I can Walk around with $100,000 jewelry on in my city and I’m good.” Said all the dead rappers who died in their own city.
Ti basically danced around the real question 🤦🏽♀️ this is an ongoing issue in our community whether you are famous or not! Bp got to do better and start caring about one another! That’s something we are really lacking as a people 💯🙏🏽
Tip lost me with this one. Black on black violence been happening way before GTA came out! We just have to do better when one is disrespected. Long Live Dolp❤️🩹
If anything it started with rap in the 80s. T.I. Is just an idiot shill and puppet who still answers to masters that he has to please with this cop out answers. He is an agent.
This is the most intelligent conversation I ever heard from T.I....I heard him give some "unadvisable" advise before but I'm convinced now! Maybe some ppl do learn from their mistakes afterall ...Thanks T.I. your maturity is much appreciated
Bro you ain’t lying….T.I definitely had real beef back then….luckily he got to survive that transition from the streets to corporate…a lot get shot down in that transition…Even Jay Z had his time where he had one foot in the rap game and one in the streets before he was able to distance himself all the way away from it.
T.I definitely had real beef back in the day…luckily he got to survive that transition from the streets to corporate…a lot get shot down in that transition…Even Jay Z had his time where he had one foot in the rap game and one in the streets before he was able to distance himself all the way away from it. Young Jeezy too, Fat Joe, 50 Cent….I can’t judge because that’s a CRAZY transition to make because you’re switching over between two completely different worlds, opposite ends of the spectrum. All I can say is just put physical distance and take that leap of faith into a new life
Rap has profoundly accelerated the stunted growth of our community as well as the glorification of slum living, drug culture, killing, robbing, idolatry, pimping, prostitution, and everything except for education, skill, and all the normal things it takes each individual to do to contribute to us as a whole yet the very things not in the music are being passed and giving (expected) from the children and family/friends of those who profit from something that has been so detrimental. Now that's energy.
I've been playing Mortal Kombat since 1992. I'm now 37 years old and I've never had the fantasy to kill someone in real life or rip someone's head off. So video games are most definitely not the reason for real life violence. Mass shootings and killing has been going on way before video games.
This is so sad beyond measures, another fatherless home, once again a mother/wife has to pick up the pieces and raise the children without their father. This senseless killing among all black men has to stop, and it has to stop today. Condolences to his wife, children and his family. May his soul rest in peace.🙏🏼🕊
The contents of rap music throughout the years builds up and a majority of listeners take every word very seriously and want to live the lifestyle of the songs,it doesn't help that now most rappers are coming straight from the hoods and been had ops before becoming famous.
That’s because most ppl don’t understand it’s entertainment and every single word isn’t meant to be true all the time. It’s easy to be tough with 50 dudes behind u Dolph was just Koolin supporting a blk business and they shot through the window before he could react . I definitely would’ve had a vest on but who wanna wear a vest everywhere they go . R.I.P Dolph
I Love how he flipped the "Respect" thing; because yes men from certain cultures(black, white and Spanish) are will to put everything on the line for "Respect". Like TIP said, if the disrespect is coming from a person with no value, a person that the community doesn't respect then don't even engage with those people(s). They are none desirable, don't waste energy. In addition when it comes to using force to protect yourself, it's ok as a grown man to call the Police on people and let the law handle it, don't get "Tricked off the streets".
The energy you put out, is the energy you will receive. PERIOD!! Start making positive music, and stop letting the other man set the stage for your destruction!!
@@jakedecker6415 Yo, we the consumers are just that!! We will consume whatever they give us. Bring back real music and positive music. BRING BACK REAL ARTIST. Anybody can Trap rap, it is nothing but BS . This music SET THE TONE and altitude For the young kids. This music is BS. The bad part about it is most of these rappers start out positive, then once they sign with a label they are FORCED TO CHANGE. Black men stop being a follower. All of this music sound the same, same lyrics, same snare and same beat. Same topic, SEX, money. Murder. WTF happen to black people?? What happened to us. SMDH!!
@@Sleazball_ sometimes they wanna let you work out the kinks bcuz they are impatient; sometimes its what you said about blowing up; sometimes its their agents & Mgr's - ask how i know. Mgr's often suck. You have to chase them...
We have to be able separate reality from entertainment. These young rappers are flashing cash, rolling up in expensive cars, filming videos in mansions with the sexy girls everywhere….that’s a fantasy. That’s “reality tv”. It’s like something from the fast and furious franchise. These young cats in the streets are imitating something that’s not real. The irony is when someone dies from multiple gunshot wounds, that’s as real as it gets. There’s no director to say “cut, that’s a wrap”. It’s a self-fulfilling manifestation, people imitate what they see.
I don’t like the statement “ trap music got us out of that environment “ yet they still influence it from the comforts of a mansion in the suburbs. They still mentally control the trap
He wasnt on the block chilling or going live He was someone who gave back and did good for his community soo all this dont go back shit i dont stanf by it If we dont try to better our communities who else will?.
He's coming from a place where he's saying egos get in the way of putting one's difference to aside..too many of men Ego's have cause this distruction.. they look at deading the beef as a sign of weakness.. especially if you're the first one to make peace... Smh you must understand once a male especially a black male gets over and gets pass the needing the"father" stage he no longer considers that he even have a father at that point.. he'll have zero respect for a father.. and in most cases this is where the streets start to raise sons and daughters
If you've always been treated bad by other aa, then maybe your energy is way off. I'm from a bad city and lived in summer if the worse projects and i never have "always" been treated bad by any race. Of course there's an occasional pos but that's everywhere and every race.🤷🏾♂️💯
Man its like this, to perpetuate a behavior you must condition the Mind with the programming of choice!!!! Its been war, WE AS A PEOPLE, ESP BLACKFOLK must get back to our roots and love on eachother..........LOVE PAST ALL THE HURT, PAIN, ETC!
It ain’t got shit to do with ego, Dolph was still heavily active in Memphis, the entire community.. he came back to sign artists and contribute to the people who made him as big as an influence as he is
T.I. you didn't fool me this time! Pontificate: express one's opinions in a way considered annoyingly pompous and dogmatic. "he was pontificating about art and history"
The problem is 90% of these rappers albums send nothing but negative messages ...gang violence, crime etc and expect a positive outcome . Just check out their lyrics.
To be honest it's the CONTENT and NEGATIVE ENERGY....it's sad that this kind of music is entertaining but it's detrimental to the (black) community at the end of the day. Yea there is art, there are compelling "street tales", but the violent music is self-destructive and we don't even wanna wake up and realize it smdh. Listen to what you want, but we either need to counter this type of negative content with more positive music or just get away from it....it is truly sad...may God bless us all!
The point is that the same thing rappers use to become sucessful is the actual reality of our enviorment.T.I and countless other rappers were able to play that game and make it out unscathed. The same thing makes laugh makes us cry.
Damn Tip dropped a real 💎 at the end of this cause Ive been living by that line he rapped ‘ion know what you a do for yo respect but imma die for mine’ shit just gave me a whole new look on life
Every cultural Community knows and understands that they are responsible themselves for themselves and not for the contributions of other community to Aid them and that is what we must learn as an African people in America. We have yet to reach the industry's a production and manufacturing products for other nationalities and cultural communities to purchase from us that invest in our wealth other than entertainment
SUBLIMINAL MESSAGES ARE REAL. PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW THAT. A LOT OF PEOPLE ANSWER THE PHONE H...O AND NOT KNOWING THEY ARE SPEAKING IT INTO EXISTENCE. JUST SAY HI OR HOW CAN I HELP YOU OR SOMETHING POSITIVE INSTEAD OF SAYING H...O. THAT'S JUST AN EXAMPLE OF SPEAKING WORDS INTO THE UNIVERSE
Yall totally misunderstood what he said , he said if they gone stop rap music they need to stop everything else starting with the games and movies , there is an enormous amount of not only violence and destruction but foul language and everything else in video games ,and he is correct ,they be disecting shit only hearing what they want to hear
I think a big difference is we know video games and movies are fake. When it comes to trap/gangster music the artist prides themselves on how REAL they are. #StopTheMadness
Energy is Everything and Young Dolph displayed that verrry well in his interview on @DrinkChamps which was my 1st time seeing one of his interviews. May he Rest In Peace.🕯🙏🏽🕯
@@deander7653 So music influences kids but not video games movies and society in general ? Gotcha. Internet filled wit bozos looking for attention. Smh
When u are blessed with a gift it's a sign to change your current situation surround yourself like others like you but never forget where you came from.
TI is in denial, he profits off the dysfunction of his own people. He is trying to rationalize the destruction rap music causes to the black community by comparing it to other forms of entertainment. It’s a logical fallacy, two wrongs don’t make a right sir.
Ego is the biggest reason for most deaths. Y you tryna criticize what he saying when you dont have no proof on your statement. You obviously don't study human nature.
Problem is before rap, murder rates were high in the same urban areas for that time, this is true because the rappers speak of the same violent ghetto influence they came up in which was in the 70,s right when hip hop started, community been on some hateful shit. U ban rap music crime will increase cause there is no other outlet
I feel you tip but he ain’t ask about mass shootings 🤔 sometimes I be feeling like music more powerful then video games and movies although they do play apart
The thing about respect is it’s starts with self. Especially these days. Everybody wants Shyt these days but no one wants to give anything. Going through life taking from others. Took that young man’s life for what? Don’t make a sound when karma comes back to your family.
What people called images egos is really nothing but pride. I remember one time when I was younger and I was talking to the older black brother who work at the EEOC. I went there to file a discrimination charge. So he asked me some questions and I explained the circumstances and then I told him all I got is my pride. Then he told me what the Bible said about Pride a prideful man..from that day on I never let pride take me out the game I've never cared about what anyone said about me true or false just as long as they did say it in my face..they talked about Jesus an he endure. Jesus never let pride or what someone said about him stop his grind.
