The T knot is used to connect the hook thread to the main thread of the excavator. The knot is strong and looks beautiful, and it also creates a strong and solid sprig which is useful for preventing the hook thread from getting tangled up with the main thread.
- Form a loop in the middle of the main thread and insert the hook thread through the loop
- Use your index finger and thumb to hold the loop and hook snood in place. Turn the hook snood around and wrap the loop for at least six times.
- Insert the hook snood into the loop and tighten the knot.
- Once the knot is formed, we want to make a dropper loop using the main thread
- Overlap the two sides of the main thread and twist them together for six rounds.
- You use one finger to hold a hole in the middle of the twist and pass the hook through.
- With the hook thread passed through it, pull both sides of the main thread to tie the knot.
- If the knot is formed correctly, it should look like a T.
I hope you like it.
