Do you know how far away the two sites are? The uplink really drops off on N41 near the edge of where it can pick up the signal. I wonder if CA will make that less of a problem?
Uplink has always been a problem with b41/n41. I remember being on Sprint and the only way to get good uploads were when you had full signal strength. Hoping t-mobile can fix that. Good stuff
@@fritzkabeano1969their microwave backhauls have been pretty trash in MT in my experience. Verizon qos is better with 1 bar than T-mobile with full bars.
i just tried verizon 5g in texas and get 6-9mb compared to 90mb on cable. Guess it just depends where you at.

Nice speeds for N41 with 2 bars. Verizon looks slow with n77, I got over 600 Mbps on C-Band, sometimes also over 1 Gbps. Maybe your phone is limiting the modulation to 64QAM.
@@KnoxTechHQ But I want T-mobile to do more like Verizon to densify more to get more performance everywhere and that's the key for what Verizon is doing
@@francoiswegscheider1124 I agree densification is key, once T-mobile starts doing that and expanding towers then it’s gonna be a rough day for Verizon.
I’m so glad Comcast is no longer going to have a monopoly on high speed internet!! We just switched from having data caps and high bills, to no data caps and higher downloads speed for much much cheaper. Wonder what Comcast is going to do!?!? Lol!! 😉
T-Mobile here in los Angeles California down is 400+ almost everywhere and has much better uploads it's 100+ up all over LA. Sucks that in your area it's only 1mbp up . That's rough 1mbp up .
That's pretty slow as here in Michigan I also live out in the country so kind of countryside and can hit 220 on 4G LTE alone at one mile away from the serving site. Heck I have seen some areas here in Michigan and some of the bigger areas like cities and whatnot that have 4G LTE hitting 400 Mbps and not even running 5G yet it's insane was like 60 MB of upload you don't even see these type of speeds in a lot of areas on T-Mobile's home internet or not home internet but they're phones which is just insane to know how much 5G really needs to catch up and the only place that Verizon's 5G ultra wideband really works is like in the massive cities which is kind of unfortunately but hopefully it starts to make it to smaller towns and roll America
You must be talking about the phone service and not the internet service, because Verizon has horrible Internet service. I've had to use my Cricket which is AT&T, as a hotspot just to use my Verizon phone because the Verizon service was so bad on the internet.
@@realsmt interesting…I haven’t been able to connect to it yet with an iPhone 12 and the newest 5g plan…I’m over by parmatown and I work in strongsville and I don’t get C band the entire commute there either
Phew, I thought bro was about to fake the video and claim that T-Mobile is better than Verizon. Unfortunately, T-Mobile is used the most which makes no logical sense due to what happens when you put Verizon mobile against a cellphone blocker at a school or university. My friend tried flexing his internet speeds - but when we tested it at school, his was significantly slower than mine. Even, when we went outside where the phone could reach high internet speeds because we weren’t around those blockers. Verizon won significantly.
t-Mobile is better bro I had all three carriers at one point I had Verizon twice and I had T-Mobile for a few years and then went back to him again and T-Mobile has always been better. They are the league leader and 5G in the country. They almost double what Verizon has, and the speed is better, I say all of that to say that it does depend on where you live. Verizon might be better in your area, but I lived in a few spots already and T-Mobile has done it again and again for me. They have been the best with faster speeds AT&T is in last place. I will take Verizon in second especially right now. T-Mobile leads in almost every category, and my personal experience is better and faster.
@@antoinegeorge4287 sorry i have used both and compared both in some locations yes verizon had more bars but other times tmobile did but all times tmobile was always faster speeds
@@Jordansklar0698 overall Verizon has better coverage than T-Mobile. Verizon is way better in Florida than T-Mobile. Here when you get out of the city T-Mobile has no signal and big dead zones. AT&T and Verizon and don’t lose signal as much as T-Mobile does. That’s a fact lol
