I get Ultra now on my iPhone 14 Pro. I get 800mb DL\75mb Upload with 26ms ping. The 5G Home Internet is on the way..

5G is used for the download while the upload is LTE and this is why its called (Non Stand Alone) NSA 5G while SA (stand alone) is 100% 5G doesnt need LTE

Apple just released iOS 16.4 beta 1 and the “StandAlone” option is finally here on the iPhone 14 phones only (due to the modem inside)for T-Mobile. I haven’t seen any 3 Gbps. The most I get is 500 mbps in NYC.

I’m thinking it won’t be live in the betas.

The problem with stand alone is there no device that can use for now and the amount of spectrum is not enough to see faster speeds so 5G UC will be fast due to the amount of spectrum in use

@@jordanstechtalk9772 mmwave?

@@juanwilliams3423 MmWave is a little different, it’s pretty rare to spot. It’ll usually be in places like football stadiums, dense downtown areas etc. it has a pretty limited range meant to cover very dense areas with high speeds and lots of bandwidth. The UC runs on the mid band spectrum it’s pretty fast and a lot more widely available.

@@jordanstechtalk9772 I have a 5g phone but it's not capable of saying uc ? So I'm wondering where it fits in ?

@@juanwilliams3423 depending on what type of phone it is you may be able to access the service menu and check what band its running on.
