A bit of my hobbies and some tech talk mixed in. I initially started this as a tech channel primarily focusing on cell phones and Apple products, but I just have too many hobbies I enjoy, so I decided to expand the channel to include more things I am interested in. Thanks for watching!
Tenacious all the way. BUT... Get it with a better steel. There are S35V/FRN and M4/G10 version. S35V is harden quite soft, that's why I recommend M4 for about 150$. And if You like knives form the higher shelf, get some titanium scales for it, the knife becomes gorgeous but with more weight in return. Price of the scales is around 70$
Is the mixture of Parkay, brown sugar, honey, apple juice, meat seasoning, etc. used in lieu of commercial BBQ sauce? I've used Stubbs for ribs (in my oven) and I really like the flavor. So my question is, do any of things you use do anything to the actual meat or is it simply flavoring. (I assembled my 590 yesterday and did the burn-in. I'm looking for something for my first smoke).
Thank you, this really helped me out, it happened to me yesterday while i was loading my van up after barbequing and it started raining so i didn't have time to mess around with it so i used a shoe string to tie it closed until i got home and pulled up this video. Just subscribed.
Thank you for the video! Have you had any problems with big temperature swings or the pot flame going out on longer smokes? Thank you again God bless you
No problems with flame outs whatsoever. No issues with temp swings either. When you first fire it up it will overshoot a bit but it settles down and rock steady from there. Thanks for watching brother!
Casting distance is so , so , overated it's a joke.! It is nothing more than a marketplace gimmick by manufacturers! Or between two dopes who don't know how to fish, and taunt one another saying , I can cast further than you!
You absolutely don’t need one. I got one out of curiosity mostly. I will say they have some advantages casting into the wind and I like that you don’t have to set the tension knob each time you swap lures. Plus they are fun to use. Casting distance is about equal to some of my non DC reels. I would buy another DC for sure as I really do like it. I’m glad I learned on a non DC baitcaster though. Thanks for watching.
I just cannot bring myself to like Spiderco's designs. Benchmade made be overpriced, but I love their designs and that they're made in the US. I also love everything about the 940.
Yeah Benchmade has gone a bit nutty with their prices lately! I get their emails and always see cool new models but then I click on them to see some super high pricing! Great knifes though.
Spydercos look like clown shoes, it takes a different type of person to think that's an acceptable design to hold lol. Yes they are functional but so GD stupid looking. Spyderco is overpriced, bechmade is overpriced. At least BM still has the BEST designs and all USA made, so im happy to use them. Cant afford a lot of them, but i dont need a LOT of knives. Cant afford to have crap knives either. So a couple BM fixed blades, a couple BM folders, and good to go yes. They will not wear out or break anytime soon, in my experience using BM for a decade now
ihave the pitboss 700FB little bigger main grate...thinking of going to rectec......ur total cooking 590 mine is 507 i never use the top grate in mine in fact took it off.... watching ur video...i might pull that trigger for the rec... or may step down to the patio legend $200.00 less
@jordanstechtalk9772 ur rec tec is like 2 inches long same width...the patio legend is about 2 inces shorter and 3 inches less in width. Soo close in size on all 3.
It's so wholesome when small creators like this guy try to help other people by telling them about cool events and how to experience their fullest. It genuinely makes me happy.
Is that the latest curado dc? Is it gray and black or is it green in the sun. I’ve heard people say that it is green in the sun, but in your video, it looks like a dark metallic graphite gray. I really want one, but would prefer it if it was not green.
The body itself is more of a gray color. The only green on it is tensioner knob and the metal portion of the handle that the grips are attached to. I just bought it about a month ago so I would assume it’s the newest model unless it was just old stock at the store. The green on the handle looks pretty in the sun. I do not notice any green at all in the body though.
They are Grey, I own a pair of DC150XGs , and a pair of DC200XGs . I have them on StCroixs, 71, 73, 76, 8 .. You will not find a better real at the pricepoint , and to be honest, even double the pricepoint !
I do not unfortunately you may want to check on Facebook. There is a large recteq group with close to 100,000 members. Of course the majority of them are fans of recteq, but some of them may be able to offer some advice. I’m sure some of them have owned those before or used them.
⚠️if you are setting this up somewhere where you can’t cast it it won’t work just set it up and then cast with it when you can trust me I almost sent it back when I was setting it up⚠️
Nice looking smoker. How wide is it (width back to front), if you're looking from the side pellet box hopper. I'm hoping it will fit through my back door patio. Thanks.
I own 2 dc reels. when you set the spool tension just enough to stop the side to side play in the reel you will not have any over run & limited backlashing. too many people buy these reels give a review on it and have done so tuning it as a normal bait caster & that is completely wrong.. stop treating it as a regular bait caster it is not that & you will certainly get the true functionality of the dc system..
@@jordanstechtalk9772I own 2 scorpion dc, I just bought a curado to put on my uglystik rod. what I don't like about the curado is that in setting 4 the distance isn't far at all. but with the scorpion dc in automatic mode you still get good distance.
