Great video!! I’ve been using T-Nex for several years now and it’s amazing!!! I over applied a little the first time and didn’t get any clippings when mowing for a month 😂😂. But she came back strong!!

Your lawn is amazing! I have common Bermuda, a lot of my lawn is covered in shade so the Bermuda is a bit patchy. But my lawn has come a long way since last year when it was overrun by crabgrass. You have a great channel!

Great video Reel Low. I live in the Fort Worth area. Have the same Tifway 419. I love T Nex, but I have noticed a little graying of the leaf tips of the grass after application. So I will add either a half dose of CoRoN 18-3-6 or GreenePunch 18-0-0 (like 9 oz per 1000 sq ft) along with a little chelated iron to the tank and spray it down. Very satisfied with T Nex along with the GCF product line. Usually put 4 doses down, starting on Memorial Day, about every 3 weeks or so.

Great info! I just applied TNEX on my zoysia for the first time ever, this weekend. I'm at .25oz/1000 and still trying to figure out when to reapply. The default on Greenkeeper says 255 GDD of suppression but I guess I need to reapply within 3 actual days of me hitting that mark. Also, Greencast by Syngenta has an online GDD calculator that tells you what your GDD number is for that day, just put in your zip code. For example, it gives you the previous 10 days worth of GDD info. Add these up to hit your mark.

My struggle with Tnex this year is deciding whether or not to use it. I still have some bare spots from tree removal/ root digging that need to fill in, yet I want to suppress the areas around them. Also my backyard has been slow to wake from dormancy, probably because I seeded the Bermuda last May and went hard on fall and spring pre emergent. I decided to go ahead and regulate the front with the bare spots and see if they still fill in or not. For the back I’m going to wait until I have more green up.

Saw some YT video suggesting half rate application of PGR every 2 weeks (granted this schedule doesn’t really follow the GDD suggestions) to avoid bronzing. Thoughts?

Great info! How careful do you have to be not to overlap when applying? (I may have skipped that part in the video. Sorry if I did) I’m assuming you’re doing that with a pump or backpack sprayer. I’ve got a new 17k sq ft lawn that I’m going to attempt to reel mow, but it takes about an hour and a half each mow. If there’s any way I can cut that down to once or twice a week when it starts hopping, I’d be all about it. Thanks!

Great info Reel Low Bermuda . So I applied my first PGR at .16 and added iron at 6oz per 1000. Pretty low application. And .. got brown /damage spots all over the lawn. This was about two weeks ago and seems to be coming back . Thing is the undamaged Bermuda didn’t get any regulation and now I’m scared to reapply . U think it could have been the iron or being it’s first PGR application?

im a bit confused about the mowing. on the label i believe it says to mow one hour before or 4 hours after?

Be careful with that. I've used it several times and if/when you get an issue such as disease in your lawn, it will take forever for the plant to grow out of it. I'd rather mow more frequently than use this again. I've used it 3 years in a row and each year it became a hassle.

You should only apply this product once a month
