This video teaches the process of speeding up the Andis T-outliner motor by turning the power up or slowing the motor down by turning power down. Also electromagnetic theory is explained.
My T-Outliner took a trip up north with me in my gear bag and when I went to do my beard the blade had stopped working. I tried everything, adjusting the tensioner and blades. Only when I used this tip to adjust the motor arm did my bad boy come roaring back to life! Thank you so much for making this video, this saved me and now I can get my fresh on!! Not only that but I am now a mechanical master of the tool. BIGUP!!
Thank you, I am a big believer in keeping the green as black as long as I can. I will support you and also buy your woo wop blade. Excellent and clear demos!
Thanks, autough my T-Liner model is a little different, you video helped because not only you showed in the video how to do it but you took the time to explain the principals of how it works, thus enabling it to apply to any similar model basically.
Thank you very much for the tips Andreis! My T-liners were not up to par and i would keep putting my money in the hands of businesses that didn't make any difference in the performance, but once I did this to them I got some super hitters!!! and I watched the your T-liner tension screw video and combined the two and that's was it, now all I need are your wooo wop t blades!
What up brother I have a pair of andis t outliner when I turn them on the cutting blade doesn't move until the trimmer has been on for about 1min or longer, I oil and clean them after every service, any suggestions, thx
Thanks for your concern. However all the components in the clipper are grounded. When the switch is off there is no electricity flowing through the clipper. The electricity is only in the wire. So touching the clipper will not kill you. Touching the power source that sends power to the swith can shock you a bit, but not kill you. But i never was near that area. So its all good. 😊Thanks
Good day to you I am very impressed with your videos it has help me a lot I have a question can a cord from a toutliner be used on the black toutliner 3 pin plug an also do you have any videos on wahl detailers
no detailer videos yet. not much to do to them. unless you have something specific. yes you can use that cord you just dont have the extra third green wire. it will still work for you tho
whats up brother. i have an issue with the red wire that connects to the top case switch. the clamp that holds the red wire and connected it to the screw has broken. do you know where i can get another clamp part thing from? thanks
Anyone know where I can get the tiny small ring terminals that you use to screw the red wire to the power switch? I have found regular terminals off the shelf for 22awg and they are too bulky/large.
Ok thank you when I am going to change it if I have any problems I will contact you also do you know which wahl shaver is newer model if the burgandy with black switch or burgandy with mustard color switch
I have an Andis T Outliner like the one you have here because the power switch is the same but the motor assembly armature plate is riveted unlike yours that the plate has screws,is it possible to change the motor assembly from the one that is riveted to the one with screws.I have seen a motor assembly with a plate with screws in one of the barber material shops but I just want to first of all know and confirm if it will be possible to swap these two motor assembly.
@ youngbuck1250 hey chief what's up I've had this problem a few times but if you didn't fix it already you can modify to work or find a similar at an auto parts store .. the modifications simple just securely stick the piece of wire under the screw and tighten it firmly it's been a couple years and I still use those particular edgers... Hope this helps
I have no screws like your two black ones you show at 1:25 but instead some weird flat metal looking things. Is this normal for some of them or did Sally's sell me a fake T-Outliner?
in this case you will have to adjust and slide the blade over to the opposite direction or bend the tensions spring over slightly in the opposite direction
Just loosen the 2 screws that holds the tension screw on the Armature. Tilt the tension spring the opposite side that the blade is going passed the stationary blade.
Those two black screws are no longer on the newer Andis. You can't adjust the gap. The real adjustment that I've found is with the Tensioner. Some video's had me bend the arm all out of whack, so I pulled out my second pair and reset that tension arm, back to factor angle. It even was bent over to the right, so the blade will be centered too. Who would of thought. After sharping my blades and zero gap, they hit!
I'm having trouble with this one .when I do the last step tightening the last 2 black screws the cutter blade on the trimmer is moving left. When I try to tighten the bolt in the middle the triangle thing is turning with the bolt
sorry to hear things did not work out for you, I think we can fix the problem though. First of all it is common if the center nut is not really tight and you go to put the black screws in the moving arm will move. so you must get that nut tight. to stop the triangle from moving, this is what you do 1. turn triangle counter clock wise about a 1/4 of an inch. by doing this you allow the triangle room to move while tightening the center screw. 2. make sure you hold the moving arm in place while tightening the center screw after its tight and the triangle is not lined up with the holes don't worry 3. now take your pliers squeeze triangle at the top and bottom and twist clock wise to get the holes lined up. then put the black screws in and everything should now line up
I will try. I don't have a set way to teach some one to setting the blades I do the all by my eye. not sure if it will be easy to do a video on that. I will look into that
one it could be stripped but make sure your catching the right angle when screwing in. if it is stripped you could try thread tape or a slightly bigger screw
T L it can be a combination of things. there can be grime, dead skin, and grease trap in your blade. you would have to take the blade off and really clean it out. when the clipper run for a minute or so its stiff at first then it loosen up and then the blade will move better. also the tension spring may need an adjustment
Hello folks..I have a problem .. My t-outliner is giving me burns and heavy black marks where ever the blade touches on my face ..I tot it was my skin problem then I use it on my brother and the same issue again.so I went to sharpen the blade very sharp, followed the necessary adjustments ,and even adjusted the tension spring ,yet still the problem is persisting .any experience and solutions pls ..?
killeen610tx...I did this ,the arm was a bit close to the motor which I move it a bit ,not closer to the rubber cover but he said ,not that close nor that far , My blade is sharpen nice ,my tension spring like he demonstrated in his other vid. And still irritating my skin..I wish u cld see my beard and cheeks bro..
anybody know why mine pulls on my hair ? I tried adjusting the motor and the tension spring works better know but still pulls my hair what could be the problem.
D9084 if it's the blade it needs sharped mine was doing the same but I realized the lil space in between the blade and the clipper was pulling mine so I loosened it up so the gap was a lil bigger and it stopped.
You are exactly right They saw me teaching people how to make their clipper maintain power instead of buying a new one. They are in business to sell clippers not for you to keep making your old one work. Shortly after this video they changed the screws to rivets. But i will do a video soon show how to still do this with those rivets. 😊👍
There is a proper tool for everything fam. Hex screws require a hex socket and ratchet. (1/8" 4 " long). Tell the people to use the right tool before they damage that screw.
If you want to help people explain yourself. If you want to say im wrong in some kind of way, help me get it right and help me correct my wrong so i can help others. 😊👍im out here just trying to help people. Im ok with being corrected. I just don't understand why people do , jump on my page try to shoot me down without helping.
