I think if some disease/illness/tragic extraterrestrial happenstance was to wipe out everyone who had Twitter on their phones instantly, the World would suddenly be a much happier, nicer, more tolerant, and pleasing place to live in.
Just because you don't have any friends on twitter ! Jealous Jealous , I am an influencer i have 2 followers and my posts have been liked twice and shared once in the last 3 years of my growing career. Jealous Jealous !
SO are you a fan of Jeremy COrbyn then becasue the press did a hatchet job on him worse than most and he was actually running for government at the time.
@@smsheard I don’t become a fan of antisemites, and anyway it wasn’t the leftie cancel crowd on Twitter that ruined him, or even the media. He did it to himself.,
@@sukijay4990 Oh so it matters to you when some one gets "cancelled" as you stupidly call it as long as they are right wing. So therefor you are for ideas based censorship.
To a lot of Welsh people, Welsh is like a foreign language (before I get cancelled, I am Welsh and I speak a little bit of Welsh, but I'm not fluent - my Irish hubby speaks it better than me!).
I’m in Spain. Lidl are having supply problems here too, so it’s obviously not down to Brexit , The Spanish owned supermarkets are fine, but Lidl has been having issues for about a month now
@@franminky7763 Very true, it's people like odious O'Brien on his talkover show that is spreading the lie because he's still not come to terms that people didn't listen to him and vote for remain or vote for a old commie to be prime minister.
@@nightowl7459 I can picture O’Brien now, wiping his brow in faux indignation. It makes me chuckle to think he continues to fume, but why he does it in Britain when he could do it in a EU country escapes me.
Great vocalist, top band. Can't keep the brilliant talent that is Carol Decker down!! 👏💙 A music legend, deserving of the UK's pride. Now I'll be humming "Heart & Soul" all day long.
@@tonyjones9442 type all that in Welsh, I have family in Amlwch and I visit regular, Welsh is only used by the very very few, I understand bits but the younger family members who are fluent (still taught in their school) but dont use it say the Welsh only speak Welsh when moaning about the English. Popped into local cooperative recently and was interested to see shelves quite bare so I asked a young member of staff where all the stock was and she replied ‘yeah, it’s brexit that’s causing stock shortages’… I responded by saying that I didn’t think that Brexit was the cause and she just sniffed at my ignorance and turned on her heel. I’m afraid that some people are being fed a load of old bull - even by their employers?
I think there's even more going on than that. I think there's a manufactured shortage scare. All part of seeding The Great Reset and the financial green fascism.
I went to Wales before lockdown. It was great but I did experience some anti English people who insulted us and used the Welsh language to communicate with us so that we wouldn't understand what they were saying. Another Welsh lady said we would meet people like that especially in the north (don't know how true that is). Great language, great country and the people were lovely. However I don't think I'll spend my money and use up my holidays there even though it's closer to me than Cornwall
This is one of the main reasons i absolutely despise "social media" and the "social media ecosystem" and mindset. It just amplifies people stupidity, futility and shallowness. Love Carol, and love T'pau, big part of my childhood/teens
Nah, leave them in their caves to wallow in self pity until they have heart attacks. The last thing we need is them going out and reproducing with like minded scum and then passing their filthy logic onto the next generation.
@@gazz1246 Are you someone with something useful to contribute to the conversation, or just a numpty troll insulting random strangers online? What are you?
I prefer women who don't resort to childish and unintelligent retorts, who actually offer good, rational reasons for disagreeing with things. But that's just me I guess. I'm attracted to intelligence, and you're attracted to playground-level thinking.
Or perhaps we prefer people who "tell it as it is" in a way that can't be misconstrued ? Superiority complexes not required. Eg: A smack in the gob is meant to offend !
Always wondered why the Welsh don't read their own language they read English, I know this to be true as a book dealer, I ended up throwing Welsh language books away , strange one 🤔
Carol Decker is a legend just across the border in Symonds Yat, where teenagers put ladders up to climb the trees and watch her filming the promo video for "Secret Garden" in the maze there. Best voice in the business IMO, and a truly nice person.
Folk hit out on Carol because she is sane and normal and that just goes against the grain! I am just so so happy that I loved and experienced her first time around, the 80s when the world and all within where ok! Stay amazing Carol xx
There is no 'woke mob', except in your feverish paranoid imagination.... there ARE people who have views that you don't agree with though, and that's a good thing in a democracy, right? Stop being so lazy, think for once.
@@HueyLewisRocks Interesting that you say people have different views and yet you probably support cancel culture, are a regular Twitter user which is nothing more than a lefty echo chamber where people who have different views are cancelled. I know the irony is real right?
@@csm101rus I can't support or not support 'cancel culture' because it's not a real thing, and I've never used Twitter in my life. Well done, you're a typical non-fact-checking numpty, the one thing you're right about is that the irony is real, just not in the way you think it is, and with a twist of paranoia thrown in. Twitter is open to anyone as long as they follow the rules, but feel free to link the credible studies that support what you're claiming.
If you love a country, have a house there and have spent time there, it's not an unreasonable assumption to think that you would be able to recognise the language.
It's kinda funny and scary when people guilty of 'them and us' type thinking, actually say it out loud. You are the problem with this country, because there is no 'them' mate, there's only 'us'. Stop looking for reasons to hate other people, try to be smarter than that.

I bought the 7" single of China In Your Hand and still have it...plus the album Bridge of Spies on tape! Loved this interview with Carol, always comes across as a nice person and very down to earth. Great 'Twiglets' story too!
anyone cancelled is immediately relevant going forward as cancel culture is not forward thinking but backward. It's a great signpost of where to look for the way out of this mess.
It’s a bit weird that someone her age and with all those books doesn’t recognize the Welsh language when it’s written. It’s an INSTANTLY recognizable language!
Love Carol and Tpau, I saw the band at Newport Centre with Nik Kershaw about 85/86 and the were fantastic, I'm 54 born and bred Welsh and proud but like most folks here do not speak Welsh, I worked in the music biz for a few years and I was at a gig hosted by a welsh tv show in Cardiff and was treated like s**t by a very rude woman because I didn't speak Welsh it happens all the time here, an ex of mine who spoke Welsh was ignored in a shop in North Wales because she spoke South Wales Welsh, so before anyone says I should learn It sorry I was put off by the attitude of Welsh speakers tbh, but I still love Wales.
Well, that would be true in a world where the things that cause offence are harmless, but sometimes they're actually deadly. But then you people rarely actually think things true before speaking. Unfortunately.

The reason the supermarket shelves are so empty is because there are so many heavy goods drivers having to isolate because of the out of control track and trace app!! And staff in warehouses and in the stores themselves.
interesting what Carol Decker says about Radio One. The Labour Government done us no favours closing down the "so called" Pirate Stations creating a monopoly for their own controlled station. The BBC today still have an unhealthy monopoly.
No one twisted her words, she said ‘in a foreign language It’s not a UK supermarket!’ which it isnt in a foreign language in this context cause she was talking about the UK, so the comments obviously corrected/pointed that out. And the fact that she didn’t spot that it was Welsh considering she lives?/lived in Wales is unbelievable.
