THIS is going to be my next Build!!!...I've already got info coming on the Conversion kit...This is the most Beautiful setup i have seen in a long time!...My hat is off to everyone Involved in this project!...AWESOME HELICOPTER!!
Das ist das beeindruckendste was ich bis jetzt gesehen habe was man mit einem Align Trex anstellen kann . Weiter so ! Hätte gerne gewusst was man für solch einen Umbau hinlegen muss . Gruss Bananenfische ;)
Very nice heli, I assume huge work to convert. Flying was gentle and elegant, the spool-up and spool-down is 5 stars with all the noise from this beauty!
That's the funniest description of 3D I've ever heard. Bravo! I don't like hard, spastic "smack" 3D, but I do like the milder, smoother stuff like inverted flying, flips and tic-tocs. If I was going to turbine a heli, I would put a scale fuselage on it.
That thing is so incredibly perfectly balanced: not even the tiniest shimmy or a shake while it was spooling up. Alot of the enjoyment I get out of flying RC helicopters is rebuildng, tuning them (unfortunately, often after a crash).
This is the sexiest vid on RU-vid that I have ever seen. It just goes to show you that 3D isn't everything. Very nice realistic curves of flight and a solid landing. Dear Santa...
She's pretty thirsty :-) nice flying, so much more enjoyable to watch than the stick banging pro's. I have just ordered the new DFC version, should be here next week :-)
Fantastisches Modell und sehr schön gemachtes Video, sei es der stilvolle Flug oder die schönen Kamera Einstellungen. Danke! Gibt es eigentlich die Turbine "ab Werk" ?
The sound is worth every penny I bet. Nice one, I'm getting back into heli's after a 12 yr break. My JR ergo 30 was stolen along with all my gear. I really want to make the price jump into jet engine land since 3d isn't my thing (some scale/stunt flying ok but not annoying wasp mode suits my flying style) While I respect the great skill involved with 3D, Id enjoy a scale model more I think. Is this conversion still available? any pointers or help appreciated from the community. All the best.
Ganz geniale Vorstellung!!! Gratulation zu diesem Superprojekt. Habe selbst u.a. einen 700er Nitro, aber deiner schlägt ja alle Rekorde. Nur geil! Bist du in Eschenbach? (Egger) Gruss paeng
By any chance would you send me the information on what i would need to make mine like this? I really would like to do this, i do know how expensive it is but its worth it to me....Thanks
@MrJoaoAfonso yes. But because the turbine has a little more delay in the throttle than an electric or nitro motor you cant do aggressive 3D. And i wouldnt try it because you might crash a very expensive heli
@pfmedic I agree 100% with you. Whilst I appreciate the skill require for 3D, the helis look like a fly that's been hit with fly spray. I could watch this sort of flying all day.....It's the style I fly too.
Hi great flying, can you tell me were I can buy the turbine set up I have a 700e that going in to a fuselage would love to convert it into a turbine and any info that can help me like install and setup thank you mario
Ok I have an align 600e pro and a couple Xcell birds even a SDX 50 and the electric are much more powerful than the turbine or the nitro. The dispute here however is which is smoother. Any way those 800's are fricken awesome its amazing watching them fly period and the 3d is mind blowing. I like the fast sport flying better than 3d but watching the 800 do tic toc and piro flips is pretty cool. Do you got any videos?
You cant purchase a Trex with a Turbine. They are all custom made...(maybe someone sells a custom made trex 700 with a turbine but it wont be easy to find) There is only a Nitro Version and a Electric version....
i think a turbine is the best thing ever invented i want a wren 44 for my helie when i get it but it wont break the bank it will just go over your buget instead because the turbine will cost like £2.950 for and depending where you buy the limited editon kit it will be around £1.000 to £950 depending where you buy it from but the metal edition will be better than the plastic parts so th bill all together including fuel and turbine oil for mixing in with the fuel will be around £6.000
