i feel like the one thing kirbykid coulda done better in this set is to use more grounded options, like there were multiple situations i spotted where if he just threw out an f-tilt it woulda had enough range to hit leo or even armor through a move he also did. that's just my low level analysis tho
low level perspective here too: leo is a top level player who knows how to hit the parries he needs to hit. I don't know how safe ftilt is against aegis if its parried.
@5:45 the fact that pyra's jab is big enough and contestant enough to hit even from behind and in her own model while k-rool attempted a punish from behind with his own hitbox... somethings are fun when stupid in smash but needs to be fiiiiiiiixxxxeeed
I know this is late but pyras attacks are some of the most exaggerated in the game. Her downair is essentially a giant circle, like most of her aerials
@@lyrics2challenged yeah especially the heavies I've had this problem mostly happen to me when I play DonkeyKong & K.Rool they're too big, I used to complain about it but I just accepted it cause it's never going to change. XD
8:35 im not sure where the idea that town and city has the highest ceiling came from. Smashville has the same ceiling, and both kalos and battlefield have a ceiling 2 units higher. Not trying to call the commentators here unknowledgeable, ive been hearing this since the beginning of ult. Certainly one of the biggest myths of the game
Really love Leo but Bro honestly how can you play against a character like Aegis? I mean it’s a nightmare when I play against Aegis, the frame Data of Mythra is unreal, the foresight, with Pyra her downair is so large asf, all her attacks has too much range, it’s insane… I was waiting for some nerfs but nothing. She is too overpowered that’s why when you play online, you have so much players that use them and click on every buttons because they know this character has nothing to fear.
They're overpowered on stage yea but they have to recover very carefully cuz any knockback when they're recovering with kill them so try edge guarding them whenever possible. Still hard to do that though
Love both players, and both had emaculate gameplay, but Pyra and Mythra are the prime example for me why i can never take Smash serious as a fighting game.
@@JaxmaSSBU I feel like a lot of Characters have waaaay too much going for them. Like, Pyra/Mythra are fast, have range and are pretty safe, have utility and on top of that even have 2 movesets in 1 character. AND their recovery isnt even thaaaat bad. Normally if they give a fighter good stuff, they also gotta nerf them in some way but some of them have next to no negatives to them. Its probably just the way i feel about it, and maybe i was tired of seeing the same top tier characters dominate time and time again. Also im a big Kirbykid fan, so that might be a factor too.
MkLeo is boring, every player who just spams sword fighters are boring. If that is the best smash has to offer it would be boring. BUT NO! We have KirbyKid, Leon, Peanut, Major, etc. out here making smash FUN to watch with the WACKY characters that it is really ALL about. These "best players" can sit at the top of brackets all day, I won't watch them, unless they are fighting someone interesting, and I will root for their opponent any day of the week.
WTF is this character? So much interactions worked well for Pythra but would definitely never work for any other characters... Like the roll get up through the sucking neutral B at the end. Cheated!
