Leo loses one tournament and everyone jumps to say tweek is best. I think they will go back and forth, but until someone can rack up multiple tourney wins on Leo, can't say he has been dethroned

You'd think after summit they would stop revisiting plot points but here we are. Seriously though, not even just vs tweek, I've never seen a reverse 3-0 rate as high as Leo, it legitimately feels like he's favored when he wins game 3, it happened with spargo too at summit. When you're up 2-0 vs Leo You either beat Leo 3-0 or you lose

This set was the most incredible thing, leo knew everything, EVERYTHING tweek wanted to do at the end. I think he understands this game at a fine tuned level, the options people have and when he thinks theyll be forced to take them, like what do you do?

I have no words for the shit leo pulled off at 12:45. Catches peanut, hits tweek with it, does a drag down nair, reads and punishes the roll. Beautiful.

can't even explain what i've just witnessed, Tweek's diddy proved to be such an insurmountable opponent, yet we see him here getting chipped away little by little until he is finally washed away, Leo is beyond inspirational, players of his caliber are incredibly rare and the matches are always a joy to watch, kudos to both players, Tweek is just formidable too, that impeccable run man, but he must face his ultimate demon time after time, gotta love these arcs

Really, for those of us who like Smash, Leo vs Tweek feels like watching Real Madrid vs Barcelona in the days of Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. This is the game that the crowd looks forward to the most and it rarely disappoints. What an epic set and what a way to come back for Leo, with a character widely considered Mid Tier and closing it with a 3 stock. Sometimes seems to be true that legend that says: "To beat Leo, you must prevent set from reaching game 4".

SPOILERS .. This reverse 3-0 was awesome, after Tweek beat leo's byleth then 5-0'd his Aegis at Summit, Leo here makes a reverse 3-0 followed by a 3 stock, using a mid/high tier character at a supermajor. Leo, tweek and spargo carry all their characters by a lot, (esp leo), and i personally think they're the best 3 by skill/fundamentals in the world. I was happy for tweek overcoming leo at summit so solidly and then leo getting the runback with his favorite character in the most hype way possible here was perfectly hype for their next WF/GFs encounter! Shows that tiers in this game are very small and skill by far matters the most. Unrelated, but all these guys have a Metafy if anyone would like to learn/improve from them.

People were saying Leo and Tweek were abusing top tier characters to assert their dominance. Then they changed to mid/low tier characters and kept destroying the rest of the world. Mind blowing

Mkleo learned that Tweek would banana off stage, and punished him every single time with it. He gave Mkleo maybe 3-5 free bananas a game by throwing it on stage, and Mkleo realizing that this was a major flaw in his gameplay. Then he had to get back on stage with an additional threat of a ledge trap...his banana. Also, Mkleo punished him for z dropping the banana and never got hit by it again after game 2. That was an incredible display of dominance.

This is what happens When you prematurely say the king is going to be dethroned. Y’all must’ve forgot who this guy was.

Yo I dont know whats going on with the players lately but everyone is playing their absolute hearts outs. Putting their entire soul into these matches. So much emotion, EVERYONE is popping off, and creating some of the best matches I've ever seen. We seen Sparg0 bring out his infamous Cloud, Maister went crazy, elegant playing out of his mind, Leon was doing things with bowser I didnt think were possible. Tweek is POSSESED on the controller. I genuinely believe its Mkleo's influence on the Smash community. Playing aginst him brings players to a completely new level and knowing Leo will be in bracket is enough motivation for everyone bring put their all into these games. This tournament is insannnneeee.

Holy frickin crap! These guys are NUTS! No matter how far he is behind, Leo manages to pull through, slowly building up steam, then completely rolling over his opponent. That last stock ending on game 5 had me SHAKING! Leo's Byleth is SICK! Congrats to both MKLeo and Tweek, they played amazing. G FUCKING G!

This is one of the best sets I’ve ever seen in Ultimate

There is something so immensely satisfying about MkLeo slowly getting the feel of Tweek's playstyle down further and further until it finally culminates in him perfectly reading a hasty ledge jump with an Fsmash. Just aboslute perfection.

Man this is the set I wanted to see. I knew Leo was doing better with Byleth. I knew he likes this character more than Aegis. The first 3.5 games are the best smash I have seen. Really felt like a battle between the two top players at their peak. Then Leo got the download. Still looking forward to seeing future sets between these two. Impressed by both of them.

Right around 22:51 it looked like Leo was trying to bait tweek into grabbing the banana at ledge so he could get the up B spike. It didn’t work but the fact that he even thought to go for that is some next level shit.

Leo's Clutch factor truely is ridduclous. I was expecting him to at least try Joker, but the fact that he reversed 3-0ed Tweek with Byleth really is incredible. Post Quaratine, with Samsora's ban, Leo vs Tweek has become the defining rivarly of Ultimate. Civil War 2 or a tournament like it should def be in the talks post Riptide

This is probably the best ultimate set I've ever seen. The gameplay from both players was phenomenal, just watching the movement, setups, item plays. This was probably the highest level set of all time, both players at peak performance. Amazing.

The ost that played during game 5 was fantastic. It captured the whole tension between the players and the one reigning over the venue holy shit epic af. Is that even legal how good and well scripted this winner finals set was holy shit. It was legimtly some anime shit i swear. Glad i stayed at 3 AM to watched this live

watching this was like watching two titans fighting mercilessly with absolutely no regard for whats happening around them. i swear i could see rocks floating in the air from the amount of pressure they were exuding.

Ahhhh that's what I wanted to see, Leo understanding the importance of item game and tech for this matchup. I am glad he lost at Summit to Tweek so he could regain his motivation to grind Smash Ultimate once more. Tweek was the necessary evil to push MKLe-god to still keep improving. Thanks to both for making us feel such nervousness, thrill, excitement, hypeness.

This is now my favorite set of Smash Ultimate that has ever been played.

I was so scared this entire set cause Tweek’s Diddy is next level. But Leo shows why he’s the best. That mental game and adaptation does not go away no matter what player or what character he’s facing. Jesus fucking Christ. The man is insane. And to do it with a mid tier character just shows tier lists are really irrelevant. Play the character you enjoy and watch the results pile in. My lord.

If MkLeo wins a single game, he wins the whole set. Either you 3-0 him, or you lose. This is beyond being a statistic at this point. It feels like a universal truth.

Byleth carries Leo OMEGALUL Seriously though, I don’t see any Leo haters wanting to come out and talk shit about him winning with joker now. He singlehandedly took Ike, Joker, and now Byleth to the top and no one has been able to achieve the amount of success he has had with those 3 characters. What an absolute god.

Amazing to see another El Classico, Game 4 remains to be unbeatable and Leo remains to the clutch King with now piloting Byleth. His adaptions overall against Diddy from Summit were quite obvious when it comes to improved banana play and counterplay and applying safe but effective pressure on his shield plus Leo's X-factor. Already one of my favourite sets in Ultimate
