This was my first thought and trust me I tried!! The issue is that it's a moulded carpet and it will not lie flat so trying to take a template of a three-dimensional shape didn't really work for me. Also tried to shape the carpet and fit as one piece but too difficult
I show the wheel arching the vid but I didnt take any pictures, I will double check, because I change the process several times realizing what I could and could do. I first started with a complete one piece, no, just no not possible. In the end I had 1 floor section 1 front foot tub section that wrapped around the center bulb 1 wheel arch and then the seat base. I know this is not much help but if you break it down into smaller pieces its a lot easier. And the wheel arches are reversible so only one template. Then rest is cut and go cut and go.
