I also have this problem bt in the middle of the stem the thick bit not the ctual quick release itself bt the block that holds the stem how do you tighten this as ive tried an grtting no where yet im scared it wil just give way an detach whilst riding an cause an accident (i heaviely rely on my scooter for my everyday travel as have mobility issues from q deformity.)
You need a long extension. There's a bolt with the same size Allen bolt head as the front wheel. Might need to get as many extensions as you can. Tape together and insert down the tube hole where the handle bars slide up and down. To get the handlebar pole out you have to detach all the break cable and throttle wires ect. Then pull it up after you undo the three screws near the quick release for handlebars. It has a plastic stopper on the end of the pole with a Philips screw to remove it. All fiddley but patience and care and you should be fine.
I also have this prolem bt mine needs tightrning via the middle (where the extender grip is the holding mechanism does anyone knw how plz comme t or qttach a video please please its driving me crazy
