She needs to do more ensemble cast films like manmarziya or haseen dilruba or a pink ... Just for the sake of doing a female lead she has become redundant n boring to watch ... I would love to see her in intresting roles ..
Agree..One doesn't need to do female oriented movies all the time to show their acting skills..In a romantic or feel good or comedy movie also they can showcase their acting skills..
Loved wat she said about SHOOJIT......i now know why his characters are so bloody real that its almost a given....and he chooses actors well barring varun.....although he did well i just wish there was someone else as DAN.
Interesting you mention that as I have recently watched October and was quite surprised by the fact that Varun’s performance was praised a lot. He was okay, nothing special.
Well to be honest Akshay has been consistent with hits and super hits (that too post 2014) but compared to his contempries like Srk, salmon and aamir he has never in his career given a All time Blockbuster or even too many Blockbusters. Whereas they have had 4-5 movies minimum . Globally also his movies never earn a lot whereas the numbers that SRK pulls globally even in shitty content movies is above his super hits! For example, Dilwale

I think Tapsee can get a little help from language coach, not to change how she speaks in real life but to know how to use her facial muscles to change the pattern of tone in reel. I don’t know if she or her team will see this comment or not. However, I really feel she needs to bring some variation of her dialogue delivery.
She has acted in 15 Telugu films. Yet there isn't any talk about any of them. Her Telugu movie with Gopichand, Saahasam, is a really good film. No mention of that either here. Baldy is being blatantly biased. Cueball should take cues from other channels on how to interview actors.

She is overhyped!! She does the same kind of acting in every movie, her mouth goes in a weird way every time she has to emote a certain expression. It's actually amazing that she got the tag of super talented actress. Her act in her last 5 or so movies is so repetitive. She is an okayish actor thats abt it.

Taapse & Ayushman are the most mediocre, mono tone and repetitive actors in Indian cinema now. If all the characters she has played are put in one room, it would be just ONE character coz there is almost absolutely no differentiation. People like them can only be OTT release actors. I am sorry to say but Mediocrity can never survive.
Yes , it's wrong when any producer from any region cast fair skinned actors/actress in their film just because of their skin colour only criteria for casting should be ACTING TALENT but your comment saying that north Indians girls should not be allowed in Tamil films is wrong , why you people have no problem when girls from south acts in Hindi films according to your logic that should also be banned
All the off screen trolling aside, Kangana is pushing boundaries in this aspect by holding a certain star presence but in big budget female centric films sans any branding from heroes or even production houses which Alia/Deepika get. Vidya was washed off this genre after 2 films while Taapsee is limited to small niche films and shows little versatility in acting. Kangana is going stronger in this genre. Credit has to be given where its due.
