Its a great spot, very memorable that's for sure. You're lucky to be staying out there! We'd love to do the lava tubes underwater and just missed it when passing through early this year!

Having dogs always makes it a little more difficult to see some places. The family we travelled with would, on occasion, put their dog into care at the local vets if there was a must do item nearby, maybe that could be an option 😊

@@BigOzExplorers Lol, aaww Sian, just lluuvv it when you talk more drone. Just gives a great perspective, yeah you pulled up at a lake, then the drone went up, bloody massive. Showed all the well spaced campsites along the edge. Does it for me.
@@BigOzExplorers Mate, thanks to you and your wonderful family sharing this you have inspired us, on Monday we are going to look to purchase a car and van in NSW where we came up to have Xmas with family and when we then are allowed to go home to Vic we will spend a month getting our house ready and will sell it, put stuff in storage and sell and then off we go to see the “Big Oz” where we are so lucky to live. Keep living the life and sharing it with us 👍😃

@@BigOzExplorers Well we just bought a car and van that was all set up. Van is not an off road one but will get us to a lot of places and help us get into life on the road. Car is a Triton but next year am looking to getting a Patrol Hope to buy you a beer 🍺 one day When is the Q&A coming out to give me some invaluable tips 😃😃. Great arial shot of the gillies range. Grew up on the tablelands and have very "fond" memories of many trips up and back to cairns causing some very real motion sicknesss as a kid 🤮 Beautiful place though 👌
I used to have the worst motion sickness as a kid as well, thank goodness it’s gone away as I have aged! I agree the tablelands are a one of a kind spot, so glad we had the chance to check them out 🥰
We had the tyres swapped out when we arrived back in Cairns and the spare was also replaced with one of the tyres we were running that was hardly worn at all. 😁

He passed away when Jayda was very young and her Uncle now has the car and races it in memory of him ☺️ We feel pretty similar to you at the moment being back in Brissy in a small unit! Can’t wait to get back to the van! Although having a bedroom to ourselves with a real door has been pretty awesome 😂
