Tableturf Battle Tips - How to Build a Deck (Splatoon 3 part 4) 

note: the deck total IS the exact total amount of spaces your deck is! turns out i just CANNOT do math in my head while talking lol

I’ve been obsessed with this charming little game for the past week and I love overconsuming content about it 😭 your guides are super helpful and they’re fun to watch in the background as I play table turf! A big game changer for me was using those 12-point cards that cost 3 special points. Also, buying the other 3-point card shaped like an L

i have to say, i didnt really pay attention to tableturf battles at first but after watching your videos i decided to give it a try and now im obsessed!! its so so much fun i love it, thank u for these videos they are so helpful :)

What I have seem to have noticed is that if the total number of spaces is divisible by 3 it is usually a good deck. Which makes sense with the 3-6-3 rule you made up.

Great guide and I enjoyed your deck name! I would love to watch a series of you just grinding your tableturf battles against npcs, maybe trying out various deck themes and fun cards you newly unlock and want to build around!

Small Fry is in all of my decks, and I'll probably spend the chunks to make it shiny before long. Sometimes I wish I had Splat Bomb, because I need the special on the other end to give me a special point, but most of the time it either doesn't matter or is needed on that other side it's on with Small Fry.

Marigold, I found to be a good 2nd-to-last turn special card. It's eyes make it garbage to get special points with unless it's placed over enemy turf. If you stack up 5 points you can try to use it to nuke the enemy turf and usually (or sometimes, depends on the playstyle of the opponent) fill in the 2 eyes with enemy turf for an extra special point.

These are actually so useful

Id say that cards fall into diffrent categories. Not all of them are just one of these things, and cards can be more than one category Reach:cards with range that can help you reach the centre of the map at the start to help with capturing as much space as possible. Good reach cards have a special square at the end of it so that you can use a special attack from it to cover enemy squares later. Blockers:cards that can branch off of your reach cards to block the enemy from getting past your front line that you are trying to form Filler:small cards that can easily fill in small gaps to either block enemy cards, or to build special Special: cards like the ultra stamp that have no special squares, these cards are all 12 points and all cost 3 special squares. Best for saving for later rounds to cover as many enemy spaces as possible with a special attack. For me thats what ive categorized the cards into and try to have at least 4-5 filler, 1 special, and a good mix of reach cards and blockers. Having blockers that can combo together to get more specials is important (a favourite combo of mine is maws and scrapper because they fit together well) i also try to have enough reach cards in the deck so that i can aim to have 2 in my opening hand.

I've been grinding to get as many cards as I can lol. I have 102/162. The 6S + 3M + 6L rule has been really helpful! My current best deck consists of: Octopod, Curling Bomb, Chum, Octostamp, Splatbomb, Torpedo Auto-bomb, Lil' Judd, and Stinger Octoballer, Takoroka, Callie, Dynamo Heavy Splatling, and E-liter 4K. Callie has been especially good for finishing with as a special.

I find some card really u8sefull and always use them thoses being: Splatcharger, Tri stinger, Splatbomb (very usefull to get specials), Heavy Splatling is a good starting card....

I'm the opposite with tableturf. It's what calms me down after my ranked losing streaks lol

I really want to like tableturf but I'm so bad at it that it's frustrating me to the point of not even wanting to touch it. I can't win against coco level 3 at all no matter how many times I try or with whatever kind of deck I make. No matter where I try and place cards at the opening, I'm always the one who gets blocked off and I don't understand how to have that not happen.

Could this be the mode where the Undercover Brella isn't bottom teir trash?! I'd like to have more diagonal cards like Inkbrush, since I find it so fun to fill up space that you really shouldn't. I really like the Splat Bomb as well, to fill any holes you leave for special.

Dang. And here I am, not being able to beat lvl2 baby jelly. Idk if I just dont know how to play or if my decks are bad thought

hi I love these videos! curious if you or anyone else had tips for building a deck around the Harmony card - I really want to but am struggling to 😅 would straight bulky sort of cards or diagonal ones work better? I tried using cards with 2x2 spaces like Inkbrush and Scrapper and it didn't work. tips anyone?

I have the small fry card, is there any particular advantage it has over aplat bomb because it seems to be the same, does it just synergies with most cards better?

I fought a real player npc and he had no small cards yet won everytime by blocking me off with his big cards

5:20- what do you mean you dont know what that is lol? You just said it, it’s how many points you could possibly get aka the total of all those numbers on the cards in your deck added together… so the deck you end up making here would be 3+3+4+4+5+6+8+9+10+11+12+12+13+13+13 which equals 126…

I can't stand this type of content after seeing só many yt supremacist using those avatars.
