Today I am using left over mashed potatoes and shredded chicken to make crispy golden brown tacos. Tacos dorados are so easy to make and very versatile. You can use your favorite toppings and make it a meal.

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups mashed potatoes
1 1/2 cups shredded chicken
1 1/2 cups shredded cheese
18 corn tortillas
oil for shallow frying
SALSA
1 Roma tomato
1 jalapeno
1/2 of a small onion
2 cloves garlic
2 dried guajillo chiles
salt to taste

Why would anyone not like hearing authentic Mexican accent while cooking authentic Mexican food, or simply referring to a Mexican food item?! I prefer it? I can't roll my tongue, but say it almost exactly the same. I'm Anglo Saxon Blood Israelite, English - the ONLY ISREAL AND ONLY COVENANT PEOPLE OF YAHWEH.

People are upset about the loss of the culture. Not the pronounciation. When you show someone else your ignorance, that is what you pass on. Then the culture is lost forever. Be proud of your Heritage.

I literally was about to go to the kitchen to make lunch & was thinking about making tacos dorados de frijoles and cheese...... && omg this notification popped out & this couldn’t be the most perfect time to make this recipe .. I have papas too like wow this lady is amazing ... my tortillas de arina have never came out more soft and tasty since I’ve seen your tortillas recipe also !! We love homemade potato tacos ! Perfect way to use leftover mashed potatoes & create a new meal both. We like to fry ours as well Then add shredded cheese , finely shredded green cabbage that we squeezed fresh lime juice onto for a splash of flavor & tomato. Great homemade tacos ! We love the way you say tortillias and your other words as well. Perfect keeping it real. So sorry that some people are rude, maybe they should not watch videos on cooking & just go to fast food places. You just keep on being your self Angelina We appreciate you & your videos . The worst thing about social media is that complete strangers seem to think they have the right to tell you how to speak. If they dont like the way you say a word they are free to leave the channel instead of feeling they have any right what so ever to judge you in any way. I dont watch these channels just to hear the way you say a word. I watch for the awesome recipes and also not to compare you to any other home cook who has a channel. Sorry, off my soap box now. LOL I cannot believe how picky people can be you say tortillas the way I do LOL I just want to say thank you I just pulled out my left over cheese and chicken and of all things mashed potatoes. I was watching RU-vid and your video popped up and my kids said oh my gosh mom please please make some.I think your channel is awesome!! You post some of the most economical and budget friendly recipes and I just love them it just gives my family homemade food and being on a budget it’s just wonderful. Just the other day I told my kids we’re going old school and we did the hotdogs and the corn tortillas and so usually when I want an economical good tasting meal I go straight over to your RU-vid channel🤗

You can say tortilla and anything else however you want. You are a terrific cook and even though I'm a novice, I have been able to recreate your recipes to perfection. (I haven't tried the tamales yet!) I love the way you improvise in the kitchen. I'm a bachelor so I usually eat the food for days after, but never get tired of it. Keep being you and keep cooking with a mama's love.
