Slo-mo slowed it down just enough to actually see impacts through the recoil, in my opinion it was better! On the standard mode the recoil was too jumpy and everything we would want to see as viewers is pretty much over before the camera recovered!
Thanks. I have filmed 2 actual hunts now with shots on deer. Both in standard mode if you want to check them out. Both posted in last couple of days. It's not bad but could definitely be better.
@@MountPleasantFarmMD awesome I will check it out to see how it worked for actual hunting! My blacktail season starts this weekend! I have 2 of them on order so your video is helping me plan how I want to set it up! I like your thoughts on how setting up the wifi mode could likely miss an opportunity or drain battery before one happens!!
Possibly, I just don't have any experience with the 6.0. I think any camera may have problems with the slow mo working right due to the "shock" of arrow release or gun recoil. Once the bow or gun gets back on target the shot is really over. Zoom was troublesome too. May be better farther than 20 yds where I did my test.
@@toddjenest3212 Great question. I wondered the same thing. I think for now, depending how this bow season goes, I may try it next year. Stay tuned and eventually I'll kill a few with the bow and tactical this year.
