Just began to saw you videos since I recently got the game and they have helped me a lot. The ninja is really good, the 2 hit attack with the chance to disrupt the enemy with debuffs is priceless.
Look forward to a basic mid game guide and later end game guide for each class in tactics ogre. I will cover all that and all end game stuff as long as im able thanks so much for the support.
@@sergiomessias3691 P5 royal is a master piece for sure and im glad these videos are helping you this game is by far the best SRPG you could play so much to do in it so much depth and build variety.
the class i'm most excited about to unlock. hopefully they are as good in practice as they are on paper. here's my theorycraft setup for once they are available: equipment: 2 1h melee weapons spells: shadowbind, decoy, indirect of appropriate element, benumb skills: melee prof, double attack, concentration, steel stance wanted to fit in smokescreen but there's not enough space and i'm unsure if i want to swap out concentration for it.
on paper they are great but in practice it depends on what ur doing my main issues is they are not bad but dont really stand out much later in the game i would get one use it sooner than later
@@faizedfoxgaming7426 thats plausible. Would you say they would stand out if you dont use humanoids and monsters? Theres really too many types of units to play with that i think sometimes setting limitations helps certain classes standout. Like my run is no monsters, humanoids, maybe even uniques.
@@TheRobversion1 yeah they do get over shadowed by other units i think they are are useful honestly i kind of forgot about them so i stopped using them i have 2 of them also. They are for sure not bad just main issues is they are a front line unit mostly and kind of squishy more than you would want them to be
omg it never ocured to me that blowguns cause status effects.. I thought it was just a low tier crossbow for classes that can't equip a crossbow ! I definitely need more of these.. XD
My ninja is dual wielding daggers cause I didn't have katanas at the time. There's a plus one dagger that silences and then benumb and you can beeline and lockdown casters.
Raises magic accuracy, which you'll notice pretty easily if you have debuff magic. Its only useful to do if ur trying to debuff tho cuz ur normal spells will never miss
i plan to make a video on it but this is a simple answer... Recovery Time determines how often a unit can take its turn, and how much faster/slower it will have its turn compared to other units. A unit with lower Total RT will act sooner than a unit with higher Total RT. Total RT is the sum of these components:
"The more you have, the less chance you have of one of these activating," on Auto Skills/Spells Um... No? I've had many turns where I've had 4 procs happen at once (the 3 spells + the def buff), they definitely each have their own separate roll on whether they proc or not. If you want more procs, just get more proc cards. That's it. Don't equip less, thinking that will increase proc chances, it doesn't.
when i say that im talking about the ninja ninjutsu auto skills like benumb bevenom only one of those can be on your weapon at a time yes you can have multiple auto skills proc you are right
The Oracle classmarks can be obtained through the Apocrypha sidequest. You get 3 of them and can only use them on Abuna Mreuva's daughters. That how it used to work im not sure if its works the same in this game yest
I'm about to do the Apocrypha sidequest and looking forward to Shaman class. If *Nature's Boon* is an auto-skill, that would make Shaman so busted. (Double damage for next element spell)
@@ahmedfalahy9337 thank you both for the responses. I couldn't read anything about that quest. I'm about at Barnica castle. Hopefully beating that won't lock me out of it
in this game having a base class and changing doesn't really do anything except carry over the weapon skill progress. i find it best to just make a new unit and change their class to what ever class ur going for.
i feel ninja falls off later in the game i use rune fencer on him and had no issues whole game. You can beat the last boss really easy if u recruit 9 dragons and surround the boss and they proc the dragon scale with reflects damage the boss will kill itself lol
Shame that you can only have one effect imbued to weapon at start of turn even if multiple procs happen. Would have been more fun to put poison, stun and silence on a single attack.
Ninja is so handy especially against spell casters. Once the silent ability active I let my unit start shooting them arrow at them lol 😂 lock them out from using spell.
Archer with shortbow is nice cuz its 1 handed so than you can equip a dagger so they can parry to protect themselves if someone gets into melee range. Or the dagger can give them really nice finisher that roots an enemy in place so they can get away from them.
oh my 5 ninjas your going hard but hey ninja is super fun and u can do so many builds with them its crazy i plan to do a full ninja guide at max level going over builds and what not too :)
This is my worst class ,doing 0 dmg and dying instantly. The only reliable classes for my playthrougth especially at post game are the typical rocks, terror Knights, hoplites, berserkers yadayada, the typical meathead boys lol Ofc as you have said yourself, this is about " my" play style , not everyone else's
Yeah best part about the game is what ever works for you and you build it right should work just fine the ai is far from challenging considers its limited in many ways it cant even debuff or buff its own units for 1 lol
@@faizedfoxgaming7426 P.S as you have also said at another video, i dont like Knight class, he is the black sheep of the meathead boys, he doesn't play with the other kids lol. I avoid him like the plague. He pretty much offers nothing to me
Lol I got so mad when unlocking ninja to have no katanas and no foresight for the daggers. Level cap annoyed me so I'd have to train for a finishing move and get no one else building until the game tells me to. Ninjitsu opens up some opportunities though so thanks for showing that part. I don't really note the versatility you describe. Some stuff is better than others, like items vs healing, especially as exorcism sucks to need undead knocked out to work, when an item does the job. 3:38 You even said poison scales, so you're not experimenting neither lol. The drain spell is better than most stuff as well, even without the same element because the wizard gains life.
Yeah ninja opens up alot more at higher levels 40 to 50 range. Yeah poison is like the best for dealing with high hp or tanky units. its scales based of level and continues to be useful. I have done some experimentation but this game is HUGE you have no idea and its hard to do it all right at release lol. Expect more as time goes on and when i do the full videos of classes at level 50 with all skills best gear and kits and access to all the builds
@@faizedfoxgaming7426 good lord lol I'm only level 14 when I unlocked and to redo weapon boosting while hitting that same level cap is infuriating. I see you're definitely going for that post game at level 40+. By comparison FFT ninja go brr out of the gate, with brawler or equip sword (chapter 2 blood sword this is delicious) if you're crazy enough for early prep in chapter 1, though you'll need auto potion/lifefont to take a hit if not using equip heavy armor before green beret mid game and OP thief's hat speed plus 2 exploit in chapter 4 (probably twice as fast as the end boss who shouldn't have a turn). You did motivate me to play more and terror knight is a badass lol, with more sensible equipment I can have others shift and see what they retain (regular knight heal is crap so that is ideal with hammers compared to berserker whose berserk can be helpful if you don't let the AI hit your allies too lol. Though they do lack range/debuffs that the terror knight and ninja have.
@@andrewtatian7495 I struggled with that. You must be in late game. It is taking me a bunch of battles to go from weapon level 18-20 though gryphons and cockatrices can fly (I just realized not dragons but they got cool debuffs) and equip items and are practically easy mode. Beast tamer is probably the best class in the game let alone they can use a bow (blowgun gets power crept twice and slows down ninjas with heavy response time let alone no double attack when dual wielding and ninjitsu is more likely to debuff when it triggers) so no point with archers (Canopus with axe and 1 armed bow is still good and he can fly) once you can recruit monsters.
@@MrVariant yea i'm level 45 rn, doing late game dungeons, don't worry you'll get there in time :) I use a dragoon because beasts get very very annoying without someone to oneshot them lol i've been enjoying this game too much 3 days playtime now :)
