The Tacwise 140el electric stapler/tacker is a very easy machine to use and is ideal for use by hobbyists when a large amount of staples or brad nails need to be fired with little effort. Brought to you by www.ultimatehan...
I'm just wondering how you've got on with this item a couple of years on? Amazon and Screwfix users, whom have purchased this stapler, have left mixed reviews, so I'm just wondering if I should risk getting one?
Not many of the staples were flush with the surface so you'd have to go round again with a hammer if doing upholstery work like most electric staplers.
I've had this machine for years. Unfortunately the trigger did not depress when I tried using it today. The green light is on. Any idea why the trigger is stuck? Thanks
You've probably solved it by now, but there's a safety catch button midway along the body that goes through from one side to the other, and if that isn't pushed in from the left the gun won't fire. That might be it. If the green light isn't on, then maybe the fuse has blown.
I've got the heavier duty version of that 190el, great tool. Great for putting down ply over floorboards for carpet. Use the divergent staples and life is easy :)
