Thank you for your channel man! Last year for a few months I was in a shoe-finding craze since I wanted to find shoes that actually fit my feet unlike conventional shoes. Your videos helped me sort that out.

I'm glad the channel has helped you! Maybe it can still help you with the affiliate codes and/or discount links--not to mention a new shoe here or there that perhaps you haven't seen before! :)

"Minimal to the Maximum" is gonna be somebody's marketing slogan at some point, I'm sure! And yes, these are very cool. The only change I would make for MY feet, is to make them wider.

I purchased these shoes based off of the size of my new balance minimalist shoes. The shoes they sent me were at least two sizes bigger. They do have a return policy, and this is their return policy: Leave a note in the box, whether you want a refund or to exchange them. They do not send you shipping labels so you are responsible to pay for the return shipping. I brought these to FedEx and shipping these back would’ve cost at least $240. So now I’m just out the entire cost of the shoes for something that I will never use because they don’t fit me. BUYER BEWARE. Or better yet just don’t buy them.

@barefootshoejosh 6 месяцев назад
LOTS of companies have the customer pay for return shipping, this one included; and yes, they're in Poland, so the shipping isn't cheap, but FedEx certainly wasn't your best option. It should cost like $20-40 to ship to Poland. All of that said, the best approach is to know your foot shape and measurements, look at the companies' sizing charts and choose the size that fits. If you have questions, ask that company's support. Read the reviews about how that model fits, etc. If you're going to buy shoes with the aim of having healthy feet, you're not buying cheap shoes off the shelf anymore, so it pays to put in 15-30 minutes research before buying, as your experience demonstrates. Know your feet, and learn about shoes you are interested in a little first. We're all learning and growing, and hopefully people can read your experience and pause long enough to learn some things. Thanks for sharing your experience.

I had a pair of Tadevos years ago, a model they don't seem to make anymore designed for cooler weather. I loved everything about it except for the width. The sole was the most comfortable I've ever worn - rubber, really, not plastic. People often describe barefoot shoes as more like a sock than a shoe and I've never felt that more than with these, and I loved it. But the damn width. I couldn't wear them in the end. With all the models they now make, it's stupid to me that they don't do at least one wider one.
@barefootshoejosh

Yes, that's 'the one thing I would like to see on this shoe--if it was another full cm wider, it would fit me perfectly.
@zackearthworm

josh, i have similar thoughts. a smidge wider might be good for me, although these are so far the most comoftable i've found and i hope by sizing up they will feel comfortable enough. what else have you tried that you liked, width and feel wise?@@barefootshoejosh

@barefootshoejosh 9 месяцев назад
@@zackearthworm I have quite a few favorites. There are several that I like width and feel wise.. it just depends on the context or what you want to wear them for. If you like something ultralight, thin, like wearing as little as possible--like these Tadeevo Bliss--my favorite ultralight shoe that is wide and fits me so super comfortably is the Freet Talus. You can see my review of that one here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-W09kIoU_hH4.html But if you want to explore some of the wider brands in general, you might like this video I did on some of the widest barefoot brands out there... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DPvEa7grwOQ.html I hope that helps you! @@barefootshoejosh thx I’ll check all that out when I’m home…. About Tadeevo’s… I was looking at the sole and realize there is only outsole for half the width where the arch is… I walk on a gravel path every day…. Could this be an issue? Tearing?? Thx again

Btw… I have no idea why but the big (48-53) sizes have less sole protection than the regular ones on the arch there

Do you think you can run with these without socks?
@barefootshoejosh
@barefootshoejosh 8 месяцев назад
If you're conditioned to running in very minimalist barefoot shoes, then I don't see why not. They don't have any removable insoles, though. So unless you want to end up with some foul-smelling shoes, you might want to add a wool insole or other insole you like to absorb the sweat. Then you can remove the insoles and wash/replace those as needed. If you end up getting some, don't forget to save 5% with my discount code josh-5

@@barefootshoejosh I’m mostly worried about friction, I can deal with the conditioning but I live in Thailand and the only reason I wear socks is for running(everyone walks around in flip flops here). I’d like socks out of my life😂

@@Ichorof Ah yeah, you might think of adding a wool insole then, just for easy washability. Up to you of course!

Hey. Just found your channel. But what if you have a NARROW foot? I cannot find anything that fits my feet. I have AA width feet. My heel width is 2 1/2 inches across. I cannot wear the usual B width that the stores carry as my heels only slide around in them. 😢 And due to EDS ( a connective tissue disorder) I have very flexible feet so I cannot wear shoes with arch support or raised heels. I need a barefoot shoe. For years I have been relying on cheap kids' swim shoes but they only last a month + holes in the bottom. I really need a better quality barefoot shoe! Do you know of any barefoot shoes that are more narrow? Do you think these would fit me? I am a EU 37 in length but I am thinking they are too wide? If they fit men they must be too wide.

Hi Sarah-- Interesting! Your feet are so narrow that normal "B" shoes are too wide? All I can do is tell you some of the narrower barefoot brands that are zero drop, no arch support, so you can take a look at some options. I will also include a couple of CUSTOM options, which can obviously be made to fit your tiny feeties! Please use my affiliate links if you decide to try something.. it helps me out, so thanks in advance! @@barefootshoejosh Thank you Josh! Yes my feet are so narrow that the normal B width for women's athletic shoes do not fit me - or they do not fit correctly anyway. My foot obviously can go into the shoe + I can tie the laces but if I start walking my heel only slides around and it wrecks the shoe very fast. Plus I get a very sore heel. Another thing that happens is my heel rises up + down with each step. I was cleaning my closet yesterday. I found an old pair of winter boots I had bought way back in 2018 or 2019. Never actually wore them. They were not a barefoot brand (as back then I wasn't buying stuff online + I had no idea that such shoes were even available). So they had a very small heel. Plush warm stuff inside the boot. Well I tried them on. My toes were getting all squished! Its clear since wearing these swimshoes my toes have spread. But the more noticeable thing was what my heels were doing! With each step my heels would raise up in the air (inside the boot) and when I put weight on that foot I could feel my heel sinking down like maybe an inch or two. Take a step and the heel would raise up. Over time (and this has happened with normal B width shoes too) this gives me a bloody sore on my heel. I also get huge water blisters on the bottom of my heel from the heel sliding sideways, towards the inner part of the shoe. Plus the shoe structure then starts caving in + falling apart. In previous winters I have had brand new heeled B width boots fall apart in 2 months! The whole inside + heel structure just starts to collapse on me. And holes form. Because when they design a boot they expect your body weight to be in the center of the heel (center of the insole). But because of my narrow heel sliding around my weight then ends up on the edge of the insole. I see this even with the kids swim shoes I am wearing ( but it doesn't matter there as the bottoms are shot with holes right through in a month from walking on pavement). And your weight is not supposed to be on the edge. Its the wrong spot. But the foot sliding sideways is also a natural part of walking - of pronation. The right foot wants to slide left and the left foot slides right. The difference is the the shoe is supposed to hold your foot in place and a B width doesn't do that for me. Believe it or not but when I was younger I actually had X Wide feet! But then I got celiac and this corn allergy. I changed my diet. I started to loose weight. So I went from 210 pounds to 111 pounds. At my lightest I was 105 pounds (but then I was being exposed to hidden gluten so it made me lose weight). I am now 119 pounds and doing ketovore. I actually gained more muscle - in my legs I think. I have started to take potassium supplement but I just need to find one I am ok with! I am also a LMHR. Lean mass hyper responder. I mainly eat grass fed beef + lamb. So basically the width of my feet changed when I lost weight! Which is something by the way that most shoe store people had not figured out! They sure were confused why the shoes were wearing out like that so fast! One finally did figure it out. Used that metal thing to measure my feet. "Oh you have AA width feet. We don't have anything that fits you". But I will check those out. And I will probably try more than one brand too. Thanks for the links! 😊 Oh and weirdly... Get this: my feet FREEZE in water resistant boots in winter. But if I wear those kids swim shoes that has mesh (the upper is a double layer of stretchy mesh - it is the brand Wonder Nation) with alpaca wool socks my feet stay WARM even if its 15 F or below zero!!! And I mean hours outside walking too in the cold. Isnt that weird? Boots that are supposed to keep you warm freeze my feet!

Just got my Tadeevo Derby, the workmanship is very poor, stitching is off at best, no lining, these shoes should cost $35 or less. Now I have to pay shipping to return them back to POLAND, as in the country. 30 day money back? NO, shipping back internationally is on YOU.

Your comments on quality are surprising, although I've never tried or seen their Derby model in person. My Tadeevo Bliss are great except for being a little narrower than I would prefer; but quality-wise, they're awesome. I have heard of companies charging shipping for returns before though. But I'm assuming they give you the money back for the shoes, since they have 30 days money back, right?
