@@EpicParody_Videos123 id also like to add that jeet kune do is bruce lee’s own version of mma he made but he suggested others make up their own too .. I think modern martial arts has become too evolved for jeet kune do now for it to be as useful as mma or something.
Kids don't know taekwondo has 3 forms WTF,ITF,ATF. WTF is formed to get the sports into Olympic, ITF is the oldest form and it uses Kick+ punches & ATF uses weapons training too🎉 But many people who were not the athelete don't know about it, if you join a good classes you can learn weapon's too
@@shawarmaman907Both, it’s better to learn multiple martial arts and styles if you’re actually interested in learning how to defend yourself and fight in an actual fight.
It’s because his style of taekwondo ain’t gonna work kicks do work in a real fight I’ve used them but you don’t wanna use them automatically you look at the person body but don’t lose eye contact
@@REVERSAL7530 Definitively also Punches, there are many ways, but Taekwondo uses the stronghest way to punch, by that i don't mean that it has the stronghest ones, only it uses the way for u uses all the strengh u can
My instructor did Akido and taekwondo and he now teaches karate. Some of the kicks we learn are very “taekwondo esc” kicks but the kadas are definitely karate oriented
Try left leg turning kick or roundhouse then step down with the leg you kick with in front of you then do a spinning heel kick with your back leg works well for self defence and flows well if you get the hang of it
@@Themapleleaforever so the rankings are as follows: 1. White, Orange, and Yellow 2. Camouflage, Green, and Purple 3. Blue, brown, and Red. 4. Recommended Black belt, then Black belt. There are 4 tiers as far as I know, I am currently almost to tier 3. Tier 4 is black belt level. We are a ATA martial arts academy.
@@pauloestevao8962 I am experienced with black belt techniques and skill, purple belt introduces new curriculum and forms. I'm currently learning Songahm 5. And yes, it is a belt in the taekwondo area.
Just started Taekwondo, don’t really wannna reveal where I go Cuz ✨internet safety✨ but my instructor is a Ninth degree black belt. I’ve never seen him fight but my friend (who is a junior black belt and has been going there for a while) had once and she said he knocked the guys out in minutes…
As a student of both they are very similar. Focused on defense, form, and less offense. The most fun I have had was MMA. Focused on defense, offense, form, and elusiveness.
Never practice just one martial art, in a real fight you must be inventive and unpredictable but also disciplined and trained well enough to understand your own body and mind.
When you use a little bit of both you turn into a monster. Each school teaches things a little differently, each has great merits. I learned so much great stuff from TKD, and then I boxed with my boss for a few years. The difference in style was amazing to me because the foundations are totally different. These days I mix and match both to end fights as quickly as possible. But staying totally honest, I've only ever been in a handful of fights. Most I've won. One I had no chance of winning, and another was more of a scrap. I didn't stand a chance.
When your doing any combos solo or with a partner never look down. Practice means everything your eyes always look down. Go forward stay forward look down go down.
Persobally from taking taekwondo, its a better fighting form, and years after having stopped, the strength of muscle memory and flexibility still stuck with me
