at this rate, Taeyeon is not only talented, but she's also gifted. Like, the way she delivered the emotion through the song is another level. I remember there's a reaction video where 3 people reacting to her 'Fine' MV, one of them cried so much that it actually made no sense because they were Chinese and the song is in Korean, with no subtitle. It was like, that person who cried could feel the pain Taeyeon was putting into the song through the language barrier...

She made me cry too. In Begin Again, Korean musicians and singers travel around the world and busk in different countries to introduce foreigners to their music (and they do covers, of course). This performance was in Berlin, Germany.

I became a hardcore fan of Taeyeon and SNSD since 2009, her vocal never disappointed me.

Taeyeon, the idol of idols. You are really missing out like a lot, let's start with her solo debut song 'I'. And you pronounce her name just fine, don't worry.

Taeyeon made her debut with Girls' Generation ( SNSD, So Nyuh Shi Dae) in 2007 (at age 18). Many of her bandmates thought she'd debut as a solo singer, but despite her obvious talent, she didn't feel 'ready'. All of the 9 members in SNSD sing well (though in the group some of them didn't get the encouragement/opportunity to develop their voices further), and together they sound so damned good. Taeyeon was their best vocalist, but Jessica, Tiffany and Seohyun were/are also exceptional. Oh yeah, and they don't just sing brilliantly, they dance well too...at the same time. AND they all happen to be very funny as well. Everything Taeyeon does is just gorgeous, and she has a great range of genres/styles--just pick anything Taeyeon and you will be well rewarded. Apart from her solo work, you can also check out TaeTiSeo ( "TTS") the sub-unit of SNSD featuring her, Tiffny and Soehyun, and there's also (Oh!GG....the 5 member sub unit,, but they haven't done much).
