Great to see some coverage of Tag Heuer on the channel 👍Very nice watch, I bought the red dial F1 chrono in 2011 for a milestone birthday and I still have it.
Not my favourite design, but I am a life-long fan of TAG Heuer. In 1968 I attended my first GP, the last race won by Jim Clark before his untimely death at Hockenheim, as an eight year-old. I was mesmerized by the Heuer Autavia worn by so many of the drivers, all gods in my eyes. In 1999, I bought my first TAG, a quartz chrono which I still wear to this day. It has travelled the world with me and, with 200m water resistance and a quick-set hour hand, is a great traveler’s watch. I had to wait 52 years for that Autavia, which my wife bought for me on my 60th birthday. It is a spectacular piece, accurate to within two seconds per day. It is the only luxury watch that I own.
very cool. and its great that a top manufacturer is still making a quartz watch. I love to have a few around to pull and know they are always on the right time!
The lume was surprisingly good. My wife had a Tag diver and the lume was nearly non-existent. Before we dived with computers and had to rely on dive watches, night dives were tough for her. Most of all, the bracelet on her Tag sucked. It was a two tone jubilee style. Over time, the center gold links splayed open. We couldn’t find anyone who offered any hope of closing them back together. That bracelet left a bad taste in my mouth toward Tag. This model looks great.👍
I don't. I bought the watch for the colorway not red bull (disgusting taste). It stay where nobody can see it. If it was on the front it would make it cheesy like a Mickey Mouse watch.
I’m buying one today in Vegas, thanks mate. Update: I bought it after watching your video. Two weeks later it died. Now it’s at Tag getting repaired 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
@@speedzero7478 they just got back to me. They said my watch had become magnetized and that led to the inaccuracy of the time. Sounds like a cop out but if it works now I don’t care.
$2100.00?! Heh, new Ronda movement costs from 45 to 60 dollars. And the rest is what?! Individually crafted by top Swiss watchmakers? Or Tag thinks they're AP? Shame...
Over 2k for an ugly Quartz chronograph with split pin bracelet and an aluminium insert… I’ll pass on this one, nothing to see here. Again, Swiss watches are overrated.
