Another great review, Dan! I'm not a big TAGHeur fan myself but I enjoyed the review and added to my general watch knowledge, so I appreciate the effort. If I come up with any good and unique video ideas I'll be sure to let you know.
Great video, Dan. Getting better with each release. On a side note, my first 'serious' watch was a Tag Heuer 2000 series way back in 1994. It was a great watch.
Cheers Ade. If there's improvement then all good. They do make some great watches. I flirted with a Carrera reference before getting my 2254.50 back in 2009 and then joined WUS and well you know the rest!
I’m the 70th Like…nice video. I’ve been admiring this watch for a year or two and love the Monaco range. I’m into F1 and motorsport and cars and this for me with those connections really shouts at me. I actually after seeing one in Meadowhall shopping centre a few weeks ago have finally bought one. It should be delivered in 4-6 weeks from Switzerland. Really excited to get this watch and unbox it for the first time. I’ve been a Bulova watch fan for about 10 years now and love the big Precisionist chronographs. There a great every day watch, nice quality and weight and obviously not as high end as a Tag Monaco but I love the feel and quality and value they represent. £600 to £1000 for an Accuswiss and the latest precisionist X range. So this is quite a step up for me. I feel a Rolex Submariner will be next but for now this Monaco will do very nicely. Can’t wait to get it.
@@TheSurreyWatchGuy Honestly, no. This is a really good and detailed video. It does not have any unnecessary b-roll or transitions. It is detailed but stricrly to the point. Good luck for your future videos!
Love my Monaco gulf special edition, puts a massive smile on my face every time I wear it, you have my next watch purchase the Omega Seamaster no time to die Bond edition. Very nice.
Thanks for this - has helped me decide to go for the Gulf edition rather than the standard blue Calibre 11. The blue/orange strap is a big + here. Wish I’d bought the one seen in Gatwick ‘Duty Free’ in May 2018 priced at £3958 - at the time I thought the face was too ‘busy’ and difficult to tell the time at a glance without glasses. Minor point: Heuer is pronounced ‘hoy-uh’ with emphasis on the first syllable (see ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-56jg1pvor-A.html and others) 😉.
Hi Ian. Thanks for the feedback and I'm happy to hear that I helped you choose the right watch for you. Thanks for the pronunciation help. Having a Cornish accent won't be helping me either! Haha.
I’m glad you enjoy walking everywhere in your Birks but on second thoughts they even have coatings from oil. Hypocrite but hey why wreck the “cool”aspect of being so woke..
@@TheHk1966 Yes and public transport also use fossil fuels, so what?, you use less ... I do not understand you. Everybody, with minimum education, knows that fossil fuels are everywhere, the goal is to reduce their use.
I get that... but this is more about the racing heritage than supporting the oil industry. Gulf is long gone anyhow. The standard Monaco will do for you then. Looks like a nice watch as so different from just about everything else out there (except maybe the Bell & Ross). I haven't pulled the trigger yet on a Monaco as I'm a Breitling guy.... but I'm very tempted!
