Once again such beautiful footage! The best on youtube. The outside view is beautiful as well only it takes up quite a lot of space in the cockpit view :(
astro j yes, depends on how old he is now, even if he doesn’t get the Boeing 777-300ER/200F/200LR/200ER family, he will surely get the Boeing 777X, specifically the 777-9. :)
You need to : - speak fluent french (I know an ex-Norwegian 787 pilot, who was italian with strong accent and who got hired at the 2019 entry, so its possible!) - have EASA pilot licences (atpl th minimum and high school degree) or 2 years of study in scientific field (with ECTS credits) or hold a master (no matter in what field) - be an EU national
@@ritchie222 I really appreciate your answer Ritchie, so nationality doesn't matter, only citizenship is correct? I also have doubt: if the pilot race can be done in another country outside the EU?
@@fishmanisland8590 Yep. On the AF website, it is specified "be a citizen from a European Economic Area country" (i let you check on google the countries). I don't understand your second question.
@@ritchie222 I appreciate your response In the second question I was referring to whether I can get my commercial pilot license in a country other than the European economic area?
Why they using french laguage? I was sure english is only one alowed language during international flights? O know general aviation in ctr can speek domestic language but this is another video when control using french
Seweryn Malinowski they are speaking French because Tahiti is a French region. Though it is independent, they speak French, and the pilots speak French too. :)
Seweryn Malinowski they know both English and French. If you don’t know, French, Russian, Chinese and Spanish are among the other languages besides English as per ICAO. But, that doesn’t mean you can speak that language everywhere. Within the cockpit or the crew you can speak your mother tongue but when you are talking to the ATC the language should be English, and if you and the ATC knows the permitted languages listed above, then you can talk with the ATC in that language. If another operator comes then the ATC will speak English, simple. :)
