And yes; the inability to put out content consistently is the unfortunate curse of being a creative with a day-job :P Since I also do art and game development, I put a lot of my free time towards those endeavors as well. Definitely trying to be more consistent though. I even currently have a poll up for my next video :)

I have this game before. My tape of Tails Adventure is still with me until now. Its plastic case, box and game manual is all with me complete! But my good old SEGA Game Gear was long broken. No display appears on the screen.
This is more of an Action Platformer instead of a metroidvania. A VERY UNDERRATED GAME! I was surprised that this game was not popular since Tails is the side kick of Sonic. As an owner of the Tape of this game which I still have today, hearing the music of this game I played as a grade schooler made me feel soooooooooooooooooo happy after almost 2 decades of not playing the game!
@@Milkmanrules1032 Even the old Castlevania, Metroid and Ratchet & Clank and Spyro and Jak & Daxter Games have back tracking. During those times, the genre Metroidvania was not yet born. Castlevania and Metroid are just considered action platformers. Tails Adventure lacks map, the quickness of a platformer, very short game shorter than Touhou Luna Nights, more secrets secrets are included in metroidvania be it a a tool, weapon or secret stage or a secret small hidden place and its exploration is for me a bit limited. Consider these things before you call it a full fledge metroidvania, a genre that was not yet born during the 90's.
@@awakenedsoul2638 I understand what your saying but that would mean Metroid and Castlevania (the games that started the genre in the first place) would not be Metroidvania’s also Tails Adventure may be a platform we but it could still be considered a lite-metroidvania. Maybe not a long complex one but it still has the mechanics of a metroidvania while also being a puzzle platformer. Just my opinion of course.
