We take a break from popular shopping districts like Ximending to visit the lesser-known backstreets and alleyways of Chifeng (赤峰街), where some of the most hip and creative local businesses, cafes and vintage shops can be found in Taiwan. Bustling with youthful energy (especially on the weekends), you never know what one-of-a-kind treasures and Taiwanese souvenirs you might find.
