Some great insights and observations in this interview. I’m a non-drinker, so if I come to Pattaya or Bangkok, I’m content to suck on a Coke and people watch during the day, then get two girls for an over-nighter. That’s good advice about avoiding the freelancers.
@@GeofreyPetersonofficial bits I already understood. Eg. Cleanliness, presentation, respect and savvying the cultural differences. What you presented is something all visitors would be wise to tap into.
If you know you will be engaging in this kind of activity. Then get two different hotel rooms. Have one close to the action. The other one far away with all of your belongings. You won't have a problem with theft or a girl waiting on you in the lobby making a seen. Problem solved

Honestly, what you mentioned at 22:30 definitely frustrated me last time I was there ! 😅 Like, there's almost some favouritism from some of the girls towards certain types of guys e.g. White, Korean, tall, athletic etc. Not saying that my looks are under par, but I definitely felt certain girls were too reserved around me whereas with other guys they were the complete opposite lol .. but its interesting you say that its a test to see how I react .. I never thought of it that way. However, some of these guys just have "it" e.g. 6 pack, charm, charisma, outgoing personality, dress sense etc - & both parties are suckered in to it or play along with it very well. Oh, & that last story about the 5k baht ! - Oh boy, that was almost me 😅
A lot of good advice. Either way your all to often swimming in a shark tank while your have a few drinks and that can be very overwhelming. So be on your guard with how much your spending on anything. Many good but also many just out for the dollars and they are very good at what they do. Have fun for one or two nights then get out of Dodge City...fast!!!!$$$$
Bryan flowers absolute legend . This is very informative. Funny enough I have been away from Thailand for two years and haven’t had a drop of alcohol. I seem to turn into a raging alcoholic when in Thailand . Why would anyone need to string a working girl along like there is some kind of love affair . Why do that ? These guys are either narcissists or they have a very low self esteem playing with these girls heads but what they don’t realise is they are the ones being played by hardened pros who have been there thousands of times .
The 3 day rule is unaffordable now! Don't worry about it. To take a girl longtime for 3 days of barfines and her salary will be close to 14,000 baht! What schmuck is going to pay that? And thats not including her expenses for 3 days! This city is so fucked! It will cost you between $500-$600 US Dollars to take a girl from Soi 6 for 3 days! INSANE! You can watch her play on her phone all day and text other guys right in front of you at Top dollar!
That’s very interesting. I was in Pattaya a few years ago and was nothing like I see in all the videos today. Of course a few years ago was 1975! Hahahaha. Of course I was Air Force too.
Basic common sense when it comes to taking women especially freelancers back to your room never have money or valuables outside of your safe including jewellery watches ect-they can't stel much when you don't have anything lying around...

when i worked up in Laem Chabang i would warn new guys as much as i could before they headed down to Pattaya on leave. Classic words of warning, Bar girls dont need love but lots didnt listen to me. Funny but the japanese Snack girls here in Okinawa often go to a gaijin (western) bar after work to find a western guy to sit and drink with as they want a change from sitting with japanese salary men all evening.
When I was young, I imagined myself playing the white knight (mostly for a latin girl). Perhaps a bit narcissistic, but as I've aged, I've realized it's not so simple. You can't just ride in and bring someone out of poverty. You kind of can, but there's whatever psychology they develop from being in poverty (hoarder, possibly dealt with abuse, language/communication issues). As told by the Doors in Hyacinth House, "I need a brand new friend who doesn't bother me / I need someone ... who doesn't need me".
Glad to hear Soi6 back into action. Was there in 2018 and totally loved it. However, I've seen some live streaming videos from Soi6 in some case girls inside the bar which is really crazy for privacy. Is this still happening? Also, have Covid added any restriction to the so called "guest friendly" hotels or things are still the same?

I'm only going back when the soapys are open. 2 with a bottle of Johnny Walker works for me. Thailand is a great weight loss plan if you eat good street food, plenty of noodle soup and walk everywhere. I lose 10 lbs every trip.
Never been but it's on my list. Now that things are opening up again. Traveling is becoming a focus. I'm curious to know how to pick up a tour guide? That's All is be interested in. A nice girl to show me around, translate and a buffer between the aggressive ladies.😁
@@GeofreyPetersonofficial Haven't actually made a plan yet. The last plan I had would have put me in the Philippines right when things closed and I would have been trapped. I had a 4 week scooter tour planned. It's been a while since we could put traveling on the agenda. Still months away for me.
Many of us find it hard to not have an alcoholic drink at a bar, particularly if you are looking for female company. Alcohol, the social lubricant that helps remove shyness. Some guys are naturally ultra confident and forward. I envy those type of guys. But I just can't do it. Too introverted. I need several drinks to feel comfortable and talk freely. May seem silly for those who don't have confidence issues. Then of course lady drinks on top. And if the mood and chemistry feels good enough, asking the lady to go with you. By that stage bar bin is up there and then bar fine and her fee on top. Hence why I limit going out at all now here as I am on lower end of income stream and costs me an arm and a leg. Mostly I just drink from time to time and not have a lady. Can be lonely here as a result (still better than home country). I don't like the online dating sites with loads of fake photoshopped profile images. It's a lottery what they really look like and often charge above the odds and don't reply. Prefer to see the person beforehand in a relaxed setting. Not blaming anyone. My choice. Just the way it is for many of us.
Soi 6 looks interesting to me. I like the open bar scene. I'm not really into the lounge style bars with the girls dancing on stage. What do you think of Soi 6 and simalar.

Plus whatever she earns if she wants to prostitute herself out to random men, Correct ? 3) If a woman were happy with simply earning a salary, her share of lady drinks & tips.
