This is an unreleased version of Take a Little Hand that is played during the GiTS SAC Solid State Society film. Strangely enough, this version isn't on the SSS soundtrack, even though it does feature the original version first played in 2nd Gig.
I couldn't find this anywhere online, so I thought I would share.
No copyright infringement intended.

interesting that the original version plays during "Affection" in 2nd gig when Batou talks to the Major in the bar at the end of the episode, and then this plays when they talk during SSS. a nice musical cue :) thanks for uploading this !!

Hey, thanks for uploading this. I'm a huge fan of unreleased versions of songs, and between someone putting up the Kiryu Reveal version of Recieve You from Yakuza: Like a Dragon a few days ago, and finding this today, I'm pretty happy.

Sounds so much like boards of Canada - open the light Especially around 2:50 in that boards of Canada song. Yoko kanno truly had such great influences

YES Before this version was posted, and I had it stuck in my head, 'open the light' scratched that itch better than the actual soundtrack release did

@@halcyon9386 I find your name synchronistic. Hopefully those Halcyon Days return to us... By the by. You should look into looping this from the start to 0:52... If not, I might look into it. I like the other half of the song, reminds me of my youth when I played Way of the Samurai... Already edited it. I'm not much of a techie though, so it doesn't sound so good... Well. Thanks for adding mystery to my research. This certainly made my research on Parapsychology... Interesting.

High Guardian Spice is the best, unironically. I had high hopes for Demon Slayer and Ghost in the Shell, but Ghost is trash and Slayer is basically average (in an unbalanced way) after the first season.

Oh, I just rewatched that episode (one of my favorites of the season) and that background piece is amazing indeed
