​​@@stephenskinner3851The BS is that the title says we're looking inside the cockpit of a C-5 Galaxy, when what we're actually seeing is the cockpit of a KC-10 Extender that later refuels a C-5. The bit about foreigners is that there are huge "content farms" in low-wage countries that pay people to take videos (in this case public domain video from the US government) and edit them down to the ideal length to generate paid views, and then post them. The issue is that a dude on the 8th floor of an office building in Kolkata might know English, but he doesn't know jack squat about US military aircraft, so he just makes his best guess at a title based on what the government had it labeled.

I have lived my whole life near one of their largest homes on the East Coast; and I can tell you, they are most definitely a house, at the very least. Such a massive airframe.

I use to refuel KC-10's in SAC back in the day. Was the most fuel I ever put on any aircraft, at one point I thought my hosecart was broke. I was wondering where all this fuel was going. Incredible aircraft

I use to refuel C-5's in Alaska, there's a long stairway that goes up to the cockpit, didn't like climbing that thing.

Compression locking collar. It holds the fuel probe in place with enough force to allow the telescoping motion of the probe to compensate for motion between the aircraft. The collar will let loose when enough pressure is exerted on it as in the case of retracting the probe after fueling is complete or when turbulence or pilot actions cause aircraft separation beyond the holding limits of the collar.
