Fun fact: the mangaka removed Sein because he was too op. If he stayed Fern and Stark would be married with kids in less than a year and the mangaka needed a reason to delay that obviously
I love that Frieren's spells are like these simple, mundane, boring, and seemingly useless things that make you question "Why would you want that?" until she uses them and they come in super handy.
The ED is basically the second part of the ED used in the 1st cour, the full song is exceptionally beautiful, I would recommended it a lot, it's called Anytime Anywhere by Millet it will make you tear up a bit imho
Nobody has commented how poignant the new ED sequence is. Many many years after her death, Frieren visits Fern tombstone. Frieren lies in front of it and realized that she doesn't remember much about Fern. She only remembers when they met for the first time when Fern was a child wearing a red ribbon. Forgetting her friend made Frieren very sad. She falls asleep and in a trance state Frieren travels inside her messy 1000+ years old mind looking for Fern's memories. Frieren finds (unlocks) Fern's memories and experiences. At the end Frieren remember Fern completely and the two friends are together again.
