My dad and I used to share music we found with each other all the time. This was the last song I shared with him before he passed from stomach cancer in 2018. It’ll always have a special place in my heart.
Who is watching this in 2020, amidst all the racial tension that has surfaced, and the CoronaVirus, and the global cry for justice? God still cares for us, let us take our burdens to Him in prayer. xxx
Straight up.. Just Piano and Vocals.. No mics, no electronics.... THIS is real singing... :-) I know you all do so many styles but I love hearing you like this. Perfect execution.. I love you, thank you. Pitch, Tone, Range, Control... You make me smile when I listen and watch you sing.... Thank you so much for sharing.
They take the words and sing them to minister to our souls just as a preacher would use them in a sermon to preach to us. It’s all about sharing the word of God and doing so in a way that gets people’s attention so that they will actually LISTEN and lives may be transformed. Thank You Jesus!
Daniel. I'm praying too for you in the name of Jesus. Jesus said unto him, "If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth" (Mark 9:23)
Hallelujah! I have to admit, this is a much better version than the one with the additional instruments. Sometimes a piano/keyboard and beautiful voices are all you need to make great music. Praise God from whom all blessings flow...
What a friend we have in Jesus All our sins and grieves to bear What a priveledge it is to carry Everything to God in prayer Have we trials and temptations Is there trouble anywhere Our precious Savior He is still our refuge Take it to the Lord in prayer Some things we have not Because we ask not When we have a friend who's there When we're weak and heavy laden Cumbered with a load of care We should never be discouraged When we take it to the Lord in prayer Some things we have not Because we ask not when we have a friend who cares Oh what peace we often forfeit Oh what needless pain we bear Oh what peace we often forfeit Oh what needless we bear Oh what peace we often forfeit Oh what needless pain Oh what needless pain Oh what needless pain we bear We should never be discouraged when we Take it to the Lord in prayer
Wow , this choir is seriously anointed, amazing anointed singing here. Also, the keyboard player🧯is stunningly anointed too. This is so sincere and from the heart; ministering to others and God.
This has to be one of the most outstanding choirs I have heard in a long time. I look forward to your next tour - I hope to hear you in concert! What amazing musicians you are, and what choral excellence! Thank you for shining your light.
This rendition has really stuck with me..y'all literally sound like the kinds of things one hears when they need encouragement from the Lord in a dream..💖I've awakened many times hearing this song in my head and i still come back and listen to this video regularly. Thank you for sharing this beautifully sang blessing.💗☺
I'm 84years old and am writing my first UTube comment. You yong people are absolutely wonderful. You have taken this timeless hymn to a brand new level. I am so grateful that my grandmother's favorite will go forward to future generations. She taught piano but I'm sure she never heard a finer accompaniment to a finer choir. Thank you!!!
Some serious pipes in that choir, and the pianist is wonderful. My family was affected by Harvey in 2017. This video is a welcome discovery in 2021. Thank you.
Y’all bettah sang! My God from Zion! The beauty and exactness of the quality of your vocals are simply amazing. The excellence is an attribute of the anointing. May God richly bless this school and it’s music ministry to continue sharing Christ message through song. Thank you 🙏🏽!
The 130 thumbs down are Shepard's of the 😈.. If u don't feel this , something is very shallow in u. It's funny how people judge our kids when they doing wrong and still judge them when they doing something for God. It's sad,but that's not going to stop these blessed children from spreading the goodness of God through spiritual Gospel music. I live way in Memphis,TN. And I'm rooting for these kids to explode to the world. Like Kirk Franklin said...Their voices and sounds send u back to those days when I was in the school gospel choir. Failery High School. We were 160 strong.the largest high school Black gospel choir in the State.I think the whole United States.Class of 87-99. Ya keep what your doing, and watch God show out for ya... Oh I'm 48 and I still love to hear high school and black Colleges Gospel choirs.
I’ve been listening to this over and over and it brings me to the point of tears every time. Your beautiful arrangement and beautiful voices did a spectacular job at communicating a beautiful message ❤️
Everytime I hear you guys sing this song it brings me to tears. Oh what a wonderful Jesus we have. We really should see who is there... our eternal and loving friend Jesus
The oakwood university Aeolians are phenomenal!!!!!! choir. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! God bless!!! them. Love!!!!!!!!!! this video. Please!!!!!!!!!!!! upload more video of the Aeolians choir singing gospel. They all have anointed voices from the God of Isarel. God bless!! this choir and pianist.
This video is such a blessing! There's no competition with loud instruments; just enjoying the beauty of their voices and the heavenly sound of the piano. I'm still amazed at how they can sing at this level while being seated.
You have blessed me today, on a really particularly tough day, to stay faithful and take my trouble to the Lord in prayer. I am no longer discouraged. Thank you.
