The recording definitely sounds like a Strat but I’ve read he also used certain Ibanez models like the first Iceman models. I wonder if that’s the case.
Fun tune and good explanation. But at 8:12 when you say B flat (6th fret) the diagram shows a C on the 8th fret. I really need to get a Strat, my Les Paul just doesn't kick out the same sound. ;-)
Think I read somewhere in interview he said it was his Ibanez iceman. It always sounded like a strat to me. I think he claimed Serenade was also the Iceman. That too sounds like a strat.
