We're taking Yvonne away. Yvonne is Herma's horse. Herma lives nearby at Stadsboerderij de Sibbe: stadsboerderijdesibbe.nl/
In a few weeks Yvonne can go to the inspection at Stal Chardon. www.stalchardon.nl/

So nice to see Yvonne's namesake again. I didn't notice before that Yvonne the horse was born on human Yvonne's birthday; that makes her even more special. Jorwert is a beautiful village, thanks for showing it to us. Super to see Eefje in this video too; I miss her, such a character. Beautiful truck, horses have seemed very comfortable in it in newer videos and so nice it has a camera so you can easily check how they're doing.

friesland is a very beautiful part of The Netherlands.... yvonne the friesian is a very beautiful friesian ....she is definitely loved by her new family.....she is a good example when stal g sells a horse and it goes to a great home where she can gets tons on individualized love....receives that attention everyday.....it is great for the horse....I know people get sad when stal g sells a horse.....but this is a good video for you not to be sad when a horse is sold

Yes! That's a big part of what makes Yvonne such a wonderful human and breeder. When she sells horses, she is helping people get a dream horse! She takes as much care when selling a horse as she does when she breeds them. And after all, that is the point of breeding.

Well stated, Greg! Yvonne the Friesland ER, also beautiful, inside and out.... And as you mentioned, Stal G Friesians are obviously sold to select buyers! Rein says little, leaves , Yvonne to promote the Friesian Horse, which is well known now, due in no small part, to these videos!! However, seem to remember Yvonne mentioning that he is careful in regard to selling his horses... Of course he is! All round, this small stable, is very well run, horses treated very well, so that anyone who buys from StalG will have a sound, calm, well prepared horse. And on and on......

This really makes me appreciate how Stal G is designed; so open where all can have their heads out and visually connect with each other. Also must be advantageous to keep feed hay separate from straw. So happy about your luxurious new horse trailer. You deserve it.

The Stall G boxes are very open and work because their horses are trained to accept them. If you put nervous horses in that kind of box they could attempt to jump out. Still it would be nice if they had a smaller opening to look out. But because horses are always coming and going there the closed design is probably safer for the horses.

Fun video. I love seeing the architecture of the homes in the towns as you drive through. And the horses that knew you at Stal C were wanting to follow you out of their stalls. You can tell they were so comfortable with you and wanted to just be with you. Heartwarming. 🖤

I love your videos. Your channel has opened my eyes to the beauty of the Friesian Horse..I have a background with AQHA and also Saddlebreds. I love the way you handle your horses. The love you have for them is so very evident.. Your kindness, patience and gentleness with them should be an inspiration to all who handle horses..Here in the USA , compassionate handling of horses is not seen enough. Also, the beauty and serenity of your lifestyle and surroundings is so comforting and peaceful. You are so right on the money. I completely agree with you. I am so thankful to see there is still a Peaceful Loving place left in this World. Especially for the Horses to be Loved and cherished💖. What you are saying about the US is very tragic and true. It hurts my heart to see our values such as peace, respect, honesty and kindness fallen away to a much worse more violent environment. I can't even watch tv anymore because it's all crime all the time; a mirror to our society. Not to go on and on but I find it very sick and bizarre that the nighttime entertainment has become chaos and terrible images of horrific things. I come to Yvonne's channel to escape and renew my F A I T H in Purity and Good. She and the Netherlands great Love and C A R E for their Horses are an example of how GOOD life can still be. 🐎💖🙏 ~

I am opposite here in WA state,USA. I SAVOR UNTIL bedtime as I know it will unwind all the political and COVID tension and soothing my addled brain. If I am lucky, I might dream of going to Stal G and walk and pet each and every gorgeous mare, Johnny, sweet Senne, hearing the birds in the rafters,talk and learn from the amazing staff. Aaww I felt bad for Yvonne 🐎 when they got to the stable and she was very sweaty. I had no idea horses can be fearful of maybe first time situations. I’m glad Yvonne the handler was understanding of her fear. Such a gentle woman! Hope it gets easier for Yvonne 🐎 as she does it more and more. That trailer/truck!! What a great set up! And that ride! @@paulagoller7893 The horses get judged on their exterior and gaits and such to determine, if they're of sufficiently high enough quality, to breed with. As they get older, achievements like passing dressage tests or having already produced quality offspring, can earn them even higher 'titles', like 'crown' or 'sports' mare. It's pretty complicated actually and I can never remember all the details...but at Stal Goengamieden a young mare needs to get a 'star' rating at her inspection around 3 years of age, for them to breed with her. If she fails to get that (sometimes at a second attempt, because you can repeat these tests), they rather sell her directly.

@@neonhamster3977 It's actually surprisingly difficult to translate literally into English. In German, it's almost the same word...'brav'. It's something you say to a pet, to indicate that you're happy with their behavior. You also say it about (though probably not to) a child, then it means 'well-behaved'. If you would say it directly to a person, even a child, it would sound a little bit patronizing. I really can't think of a better translation than 'well done'/ 'good job' and 'well-behaved', though.

So nice to see how relaxed and calm you (Yvonne I) stayed when loading the horse (Yvonne II). Her own shadow seemed to impress her. Parking the trailer so that the sun shines from behind into the Trailer could maybe help a timid horse to enter the "rolling dungeon" with more ease. Trailer training sessions when there is time on hand could be trained in the indoor area with the youngsters and lots of carrot pieces as a reward. 🤗❤️

It is something I say and it drives my husband to laughter. Sitting in our kitchen, with volume up, watching this video and suddenly there is our Yvonne saying “Holy Moley” and he turns around and says....” Did I hear that right??? “ We howled....that is 100% universal I guess,😂😂😂😂

This video reminds me so much of a Friesian I used to own that would not get in a horse trailer T all . Whenever he had to be moved I needed to have the second best horse whisperer I have ever seen come and load him in the trailer. Of course I have said many times who I think is the best

Very interesting video. I felt sorry for Eefje and Hester only because their stalls are smaller and more enclosed than at Goengamieden. But if my guess is correct the stable is a temporary stop for some training.. Back home it is more open and many of the mares live there for quite a while and most of the foals grow up there so it almost has to be more open and socialable for the horses. The difference between a breeding facility and a training facility is eye opening. Thanks for the mini-tour thru parts of Friesland.

I found your channel a few months ago and I just love it! I used to have Arabian horses, but I’ve always wanted a Friesian stallion. I live in California and I don’t see too many approves horses out here. Anyway.. thank you for the videos.. they make me miss my horses and I smile a lot. Sorry I don’t speak Frisian. :)

I love seeing Yvonne pulling the cart. She seems a very sweet mare! I can totally understand why Herma has difficulty to part from her for a couple of weeks. Nice to see Eefje and Hester too, Hester has such beautiful sweet eyes and I've always been fond of Eefjes noble head. And congratulations on that wonderful new truck!

Eefje has always been a favorite of mine. She used to be so funny at Stal G when she'd put her entire leg out of the box and just stand there like she was supposed to do that! Such a sweet and funny girl!!! Good to see her again! Yvonne looked beautiful in front of the cart! She a beautiful horse!!!

this is so much fun, Yvonne, that you also make vlogs outside of the SG and easily handing your phone for camera work to anyone that is available. Dante did such a great job. This also shows that Yvonne, while still knowing you, loves her owner and wants to stay with her. Yes this only temporary for a couple of weeks, It's to train with, and get to know the handlers ready for the inspection, It's a breeding inspection to hopefully earn a star predicate and be entered into the breeding mares studbook 😁
