It was definitely super cold the last week lol. We had temps into the -30s I figured I’d post a video like this because it’s part of running a business. Maintaining equipment keeps it running for a long time. Makes sure I get a good return on investment!
The filter you called the "coolant filter" is actually a fuel pre-filter, which then goes to the main fuel filter. May want to change it out as well. Liked the video tho!
Interesting! I was really curious if that was the case. I noticed the line connected to the fuel filter but wasn’t sure if that was to warm up fuel during the cold months. I appreciate the feedback. Curious when that little guy gets changed. Maybe 1000 hours?
@@TheRealBeardedBuilder Yeah I've got a 2016 TL8 and its saying in the operator's manual at the 500 hr mark change both under the cab. I'm doing a service now, only reason I know haha
@@pabloburch4991 interesting. I went to my dealer and they got me everything but that filter. Maybe I’ll stop and grab one because I don’t have many hours on the machine since that service.
