My thoughts: From what I've seen, it looks like Etta will be playing inside and Brandt will be playing outside. I expect Etta to make it in the rotation at DT. I think Kechaun Bennett will take the 4th edge spot and make a name for himself. He impressed me quite a bit in the spring game. I believe Rolder will win the 3rd LB spot with Hood as the 4th. Jyaire Hill will win the spot opposite Will Johnson. Wesley Walker will start next to Paige. Thanks for the update! Go Blue!

Our Defense will be a top 5 defense in the country. Loaded with talent and will keep us in every game. The real question mark is our offense. Lots of changes, but still have some talent and some unproven guys. It’s the next man up! 〽️

In very good shape defensively. Every unit has at least two guys that have played starter-level snaps. Would love to see the DL get to at least a 9-man rotation. I’d say they are at 7 currently with the four studs, Benny, Guy & Etta.

If they had a healthy Rob Moore I would say hands down this is the best defense in college football. They also lost that safety transfer to Alabama.

Hot take I actually like this defense better I think the secondary particularly the CB room is a lot deeper than last year. I like Barham and Haussman better as a linebacker core and the defense line does have a lot of upside with Pierce Etta and Brant. This defense is gonna be lights out

I like our secondary. Hill is trying hard for that 2nd spot. I like Amir Hall. Young man has grit. Fire in the belly of that toung man i like it. As does Hill. What a good problem to have. Competition is everything. Edmond is special. MCBurrows is a pegasus. Go Blue! Bring out the Charles Woodson in you baby!

Grant, Graham and Johnson are elite. Defense will be good, not elite. Might be in the 10 to 12 range defensively. Would expect the offense to be outside of the top 30. Could sneak in at 9-3.

Yes, especially considering 99% likely he won’t be playing 3+ regular season games he can redshirt. Plus he can get a grad year if he chooses.

Antheon College Football Magazine took an unbiased look at position rooms in college football. D-line Ohio State was ranked #1 Michigan #2, LBs Michigan #4, Ohio State #7, DBs Ohio State #1, Michigan #4

Garbage. Osuck does not have the better DL. They may have the better starting secondary but UM has better depth. And unlike Osuck, UM uses rotational players regularly.

That front 4 is not fair for college football. Mason Graham, Kenneth Grant, Josiah Stewart, and Derrick Moore neutralize opposing Quarterbacks.
