In this episode we are taking delivery of a 1 of 10 built hot rods made in conjunction with Marcels Custom Metal and Kugel Komponents. This car is the replacement for our blue 32 Ford roadster.
Congratulations on a beautiful car! Like some others here, I prefer your old car but it's what you like that counts. I hope to make it down to Havasu so I'll say hello if I see you there.
Wow, just had a cargasm, I’m old enough to remember this piece of rolling art. Well done for the purchase, definitely in the right hands, so much history comes with ownership. I wouldn’t say no to the aftershock or the 32 either, swoopster, as well, cannot wait to see you making full use of it, showing videos with it, shame I’m in the U.K., would love to see all of them in person, enjoy it,
Very enjoyable hopefully I’ll see the car at good guys Columbus 2024 when I come over to see my friends in Galena still like the old blue roadster thanks for posting best from UK Wade
Nice upgrade! I had the pleasure of getting to finish one of the fendered muroc roadsters for the Kugels. They are great people. Their chassis are still the best looking hotrod chassis you can buy.
I can now forgive you for selling your blue roadster. The Muroc is Kickass georjus! I read many articles on it when it was being built. Good luck with it!
Wow what a find, that is a crafty car, sits and looks perfect freds cars all works of art,and you are lucky buggers to nab one,you drive the wheels of that thing Its been a pampered show queen for to Long.
Thank you. He actually drove this one some and it has close to 1,800 miles on it which is a lot for one of his cars. We definitely plan to use it and drive it.
@@OpposingCylinders that's great its got a few miles on it,what's it like to register a rod like that in your state, that would make an interesting video
Thank you. We are going to drive it just as much if not more than the blue roadster. The goal is to use the car and eventually respray it when needed and bring it out fresh again and keep it just as nice. We want others to be able to see the car.
Yeah to be able to own a car that is one 1⃣ of seven in the world would be pretty exciting and the guy who made the video is very lucky indeed 😊😅😮😢😂❤😂😊❤😊❤😊
Woah wait a darn minute.!! You made it sound as though you needed to pair down on vehicles owned and is why you sold your other 32 roadster. By the way, if I had a choice between the two, I'd still want your old one. Besides it goes better with your other two traditional looking hotrods. This new one is just a show rod..😂
1. We had to sell something to buy the new one. 2. We already have traditional cars and now we have multiple styles of cars for different events and uses. 3. You may consider it a “show rod” but we consider it a nice driver that we will drive just as much if not more than the blue roadster. We have always listened to our own gut and what we like and so far it has not done us wrong. If we only listened to what everyone else thought or wanted we would never make a decision as everyone has their own desires and opinions. We like change and do not get attached as they are all just cars.
Hello congratulations that is a beautiful car I am a big collector of Bonneville photographs in booklets could I have a poster do you have any that is signed buy that gentleman in the video it would be greatly appreciated if you could spare one poster
I think the fronts were a 135 or a 145 series and the back Hoosiers were a 12.50/15 tire. That was with the American Rebel wheels. The steelies obviously had a different combination.
Not yet. We will wait to post photos until more people watch the video. We will probably begin to share photos from our time there, our photo shoot and more in the coming days.
The same people that say that are the same that complain the blue one was a glass car or had a Chevy motor. We have three different styles of cars now which was the goal.
