Cat S for the big cut in the rear quater panel, anything damaged that can not be unbolted from a car is classed as Cat S

that car is a JDM car its an import from Japan, so that talking thing is the ETC. its the electronic toll collection the aftermarket satnav is for the japan market. consider getting a `uk double din radio.radio

Mate you’re a g! Thanks for that info. In ep2 I found a sticker saying imported by vw Japan. And that talking thing has a card slot. Deffo goin to get a uk unit

Very Very Mint MK6 Golf Dee! The damage isnt too bad,good luck on the rest of the rebuild :D P.S The navigation system in in Japanese so i think you should buy the OEM Vw touchscreen,theyre around 100 pounds or the normal radio which is 60 pounds :D

Budget aint a bad way to go Dee. In this climate the run of the mill motors are gonna move on easier. This one is how you want them not too hard hit and a quick turn round. Nice one!! .

That’s a Japanese import car, as the reader in the glove box I have had many , should check the V5c Uk date and in the Uk date , if they don’t match it’s an import

Doing a binge watch of everything I've missed ! Love the videos as always. BTW the Japanese gizmos you found most likely means it's a Japanese import. The little thing in the glove box is usually used for Japanese Toll roads.

ohh JDM is Japanese domestic market . the impact was not that bad. also look at the connector for the headlight, they tend to break in an accident.

Hi from Durham dee 👋 👍 great job tearing golf down but al give you a tip if I can please always check airboxes before you start (I know copart run and drive them ) but if filter dislodged a bit of plastic airbox can make its way down yo intake or turbo causing more damage lol as me how I know 🤔🤣 be a good project and you should keep doing budget builds as it's spqr then every do often take on a good big project or mid term one that may take bit time but bring in some good coin for you ""it's all about the money 💰🤑"" lol thanks for your time be safe and see you soon 👍 👋 enjoy your weekend man 👌

@@SALVAGENATION anytime man am always here just never there 🤣 have to excuse grammar a bit new phone and it its correcting me with wrong words or letters sometimes 🤔 questionable but yeah if I can help or owt al try but we all have our own ways so yeah if air box or solid boost pipes damaged I always take off and check cos the ask me how I know bit was a bit plastic had come off and was sitting in housing of turbo making a he'll of a noise and luckily the shaft on impeller stopped it goin thru (no damage to impeller bit just bit rubbing on walls but it cleaned off (luckily) so yeah just mind how you go on these bits that break on inbound sides 👍 keep up great work man keep it real and keep it moving 👌 thanks again 👍 👋

bargain buy at 1900 man. Parts will cost you about 500 and paint 300 say.2600 all in auto low mileage golf. going for around 5K. Top stuff!
