Another day, another ev vlog! In this video we are sharing our experience of driving around in our Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition exploring surrounding areas of Mussoorie, Uttarakhand. Along with that we answer questions of our subscribers and bust myths around owing electric vehicle. Hi Sivaguru, I personally like the car and it does everything that I use my car for. Best part is that I still get excited to drive it every time I get in. So if you are looking forward to make a purchase, I will suggest taking long test drive and see if it works for you.

100 to 20% kitna km Nexon chalti hain in drive mode

It does about 220-230 roughly, depending on the terrain.

Another great video... thanks a lot for keeping your words and answering my question about traffic signal. In my recent experience with hills, I saw that on D mode, the car struggles for sure if it is fully occupied. How was your experience about motor performance?

Hi Alok, I agree with you on car struggling on hills when fully occupied. I feel the way Tata has restricted power in D mode is too much to make it efficient in the city. It is slow to gain speed. Will do another run just in sports mode to see how much range is affected. Again I always look forward to your comments, thank you so much for your continued support :)

Nice video bro. What was the elevation(highest point - lowest point height) that you had covered in this 111Km trip?

The highest point was around 2275m and the lowest was 640m.

Rural area k liye sahi rhegi nexon ev?? Solar se agr charger krna chahe to kitne kw ki panels chahiye hogi solar plate ki??

Rural ke liya badiya hai ev. Nexon EV ko full charge karne main 30 units lagti hai electricity ki. 3 kW ka solar system lagao ge aap to din ki 15 unit produce karta hai woh. To agar khali solar se charge karni hai poori zero se 100 to 6 kW ka solar system chahiye hoga aapko jo atleast 30 units generate karega din ki.

Hi Rahul, I’m Dorji from Bhutan. I’m planning to buy Tata nexon ev but I’m not sure how other will perform in hill area. And how much range it will give. Will be grateful if you can clear my doubts. And is it good for hill area.

Hi Dorji, hope you are keeping well. Nexon EV performs really well in hills. It has lot of power. Only thing is that if hills are bit steep, then you will be able to drive 1 km for every 1% when you go up hill. So on average on steep hills we manage to drive 120 km in 100% charge. But when you come downhill, then you will not drain any battery, instead it will recharge with regen. In my city it's a mix steep when I drive one way and down hill the other way. So I am able to manage 200 km of range. So just see how much you drive everyday, if running is not super high, then it should work for you. @@RahulKaushik09 good morning. Thank you very much la. Hills are not very steep la. And I’m just want to use it in town area and not for long drive. So Tata is good. My friend brought one but he says it’s only give 170 km for full charge la. Will the range increase as we drive more la. How long the ev battery will last la.

Honestly range doesn't increase over time. But main reason for less range is that people drive EV in the same manner like are generally used to driving a petrol car. You have to be very gentle with acceleration and use more regen than actual braking. I manage 220 easily in local, and in my city it has a little bit of incline. I would recommend you to test drive it, make a note of battery percentage before you start the drive. Then see how much km you were able to drive. That will give you an idea
