Note: Ensure you take all the screws out first....I struggled for a bit.
Been wanting to make this video for awhile...Its long but answers some questions folks have asked me about whether you can put this PC in a case. If I get motivated...I might just see if I can solder up a switch so that I can demonstrate how it would go into a case. I am assuming that button has two wires or contact points coming off of it to complete a circuit.
Sorry it took so long to pull the motherboard out...you must take out every screw to include the M.2 one.

I noticed in the BIOS this PC can be scheduled to turn on at a specific time every day. I was considering using this as a work around for not being able to easily access the power button. :) In addition, taking advantage of sleep/hibernate would ensure the PC is consuming limited power during the night, when not in use, etc.

Thanks for posting. I just went through a headache trying to transfer this mobo to another case. For anyone who finds this in the future; if you're still using the stock heatsink/fan it must be removed also to release the motherboard. (in addition to the m2 screw mentioned) In the end, I put the mobo back into the stock case. Only 2 screws would align with a "standard" case, and I didn't have an after market cooler to replace the stock one when I began transferring. The plan was to reuse the stock one, but after market cases rely on a back plate to mount the CPU cooler. The stock combo has a backplate built into the back of the case.

Late reply, but you could mount the GPU then mark your new standoffs to be tapped.

How did you plug the 24-pin power connector in from the PSU? I'm looking at buying a 3670 to replace my current motherboard only since I can't upgrade the PSU on my current one. Also, would an i7-8700 in this environment be able to power an RX 580?
