Eventing vlogs!!! These are the ones we have all been waiting for if we're being honest. Today we set off to Ascott Under Wychwood for our first event of the season with Dee and Jam. Although it wasn't exactly what we were hoping for it was certainly a very fun day.

I’m so jealous about how cheap your recognized events are 😅. In the US, they are 4x as much for one recognized.

@@woodsdeneventing9441 and the price increases as the levels increas. The price above is for levels at novice/training (.90-1m). Prelim and above is more than that.

Used to be in US horse chat groups and was always appalled at how much it costs to compete in the USA. They were jealous of the costs in Australia.

@@kippen64 it’s crazy how expensive horse showing is. And eventing is actually one of the ‘cheapest’ disciplines to show in at a recognized level here. It sucks because it makes it inaccessible to so many people.

Good to see you out and about again. I would say: always keep a 5-10mm black marker in the lorry - quicker for creating new numbers.... Good choice to scratch DeeDee, no reason to take chances.

Horsey fun again... Love your vlogs Megan. I'm just not convinced that Dee was feeling the real joy of competing. But, Jam on the other hand (or should I say, hoof), really seemed to be into it... Especially with a double clear and coming 5th for only her 2nd or 3rd time of eventing? 🤔 I still say that Jam is going to become your #1 eventer in the future, especially from what I've seen you do with her over the last few videos of her... 😊🐎🐴

Ahhh I love Ascott-U-W! Such stunning countryside! I actually photographed there a few times for Ultimate Images. In fact I think I spotted one of my colleagues at fence 2 during your course walk haha I think you and the girls were fab for your first event of the season! Lots of exciting things to come this season!
